I've been so thrilled with this little printer. I found one on Ebay for a very reasonable price that was unopened/new and picked up 2 additional ink cartridges. The ink is very unique in that it doesn't dry on the printhead as fast as other HP cartridge inks. The guide is really helpful. I've been using it for my watercolor nature journal/ Arches cold-pressed paper. I worried it wouldn't print smoothly since the paper is a bit rough (which is why I purchased this since it is hard to do smooth lettering on).

Yes, I love that it works via bluetooth. It has been a bit of a learning curve, but I've used it on my planners this weekend, and really like it!

Wow, I'm thankful I didn't have to pay anything close to $200. I paid around $40 on Ebay for a new unopened printer and purchased 2 extra ink cartridges (total around $90). Amazon has them for less than $80.

I have this and I love it 🥰 I also have the one from last year. Big difference they really stepped it up. I have found that if the canvas is shorter or right on the edge of the words then I will get the black line so I try to remember to make the canvas a little bit longer before I print then I don’t get the black line 🙂 overall I am very happy with this little gadget. Thank you very much for your in-depth tutorial. You did a great job. That being said I think that this is a good idea but We R Memory Keepers should have done an extensive beta testing. I have never seen such a glitchy buggy software released to the public in my life. It's extremely frustrating as a consumer and very short sited and selfish of them. Rant over because I don't usually do this but it had to be said.

Haha, I was using the printmaker in my planner this weekend, and my husband had to remind me to use the guides 🤦‍♀️. Yes, with the guides it is pretty easy to line things up and stay straight.

The line you have is because the canvas area is not long enough. It took me a while to realize lengthening the canvas area wider than the create/text box is key. If they overlap or are too close to each other you will have this line.

My hubby purchase this for me and I LOVE IT..its an amazing little and very portable machine for my planner and Travelers Notebook which is what Ive been doing listing as well as memory keeping.. I don't yet. Some people have suggested that it is happening because my canvas is too big, but I don't think so. When it happens, I generally just exit the app and start again.

Love your demonstration on this little printer. I just bought it as I had gift cards from Michael's. I do have question on the Bible journaling. It looked like you made it two lines and there was a lot of text on there. Did you have to do several swipes to get it all or where you able to print all the text in one swipe? The price is a little high at the moment. I don't yet know how long the ink cartridge lasts, but that certainly will affect how economical it is to use.

QUESTION? How well does it work on paper napkins? Was thinking it might be a way to customize small quantities of paper napkins. How well does it work on glass? Was thinking about mason jars painted, and then using to customize. I understand that the size would be small, but for little things it might be great. I haven't tried it on paper napkins, but I would imagine it works pretty well. It will not work on glass because it is not a porous material.

I think the line is because you made your canvas larger. We you do that, you need to make your text fill up the canvas or reduce the size.

Yes, anything that is made of paper. It won't print over regular vinyl because it has a shiny surface.

Pretty cool gadget. When you use it as “washi” will it cover up what’s beneath it? (Like prompts in your planner you don’t like?)

No, it won't completely cover them up. Think about it like running the paper through a printer...anything underneath will still be visible. But, I know it is going to come in handy with re-dating my teacher planner to be my wellness planner.

How do you print on the unusual shape labels that I purchased with my unit? The package says it’s for the print maker but I can’t figure out how to center it or prevent it from slipping

I think the plastic guides will help keep it from slipping. They also help with lining up where you want the printing to go.
