That was a punishing race - I also failed to complete my last stint due to hitting a kerb and feeling something go :( You were definitely right about the kart being a bit down on power I think, I was on track with you (as a backmarker) and despite a fairly reasonable size advantage you weren't really able to drive away from me on the straights like the leaders were doing. It was my first race and I've got the bug now so like you said will have to get back next year and do better!

Oh, BUCKmore Park. Not what I'd been hearing in the lead up... Turned out those extra ten laps Jimmy did after he injured his elbow were actually quite important considering the fuel situation at the end of the race. Good job team and a nice result considering the lack of pace early on.

I had a similar issue in my left arm once. Mine was a nerve issue or something, but after an hours drive with it and basically 1 arm, I swear I've never been so physically and mentally wrecked after getting out the kart. Pretty much just folded into a heap, it totally knocked me for six 😆

Ive had a cracking/popping feeling in my shoulder when hen karting twice before. One time I retired, the other time i was leading a sprint race so I kept on trying to race and ended up winning (not long left of the race). From a high octane google search I think it was a torn tendon
