We're pouring and finishing this long concrete patio today. We also poured the garage, that's on another video. I thought I ordered enough concrete for both pours, but as you'll see, we ran a little short on the patio pour.
You'll see in the video how we fixed this problem without ordering more concrete.
This solution to running short on concrete worked in this case, sometimes what we did here isn't possible and you have to order more concrete.

As always, great video! Always tears me up when I hear that truck rattle and I know I can't get another truck. This is the ideal video to watch for someone wanting to start a concrete business. Also, summer time is worse. Do you wait an hour on a callback, and have a tough cold joint. You made the best decision.

Hey Mike, have you ever used zip strips in your floors instead of saw cuts? That's all we've ever used. Granted, all of our floors are closed in. It's been a rare occasion that we have poured something open air. Just curious if you ever used zip strips or had experience with. Great work, keep on keeping on 👍

You don't need to go to any Gyms when you work pouring concrete. Here in IRELAND I work on a Concrete Pump and was on a job where they had a Guy about 25 with all his Gym Muscles and after 1 day dragging hose around for the Pump he was crying saying his hand's and leg's where sore and he was twice my size and that was only a few hours I went a pumped another job after that one when I went back a few days later to Pump a bit more he was Quite and not saying how much he could lift and pull doing concrete with a line pump will give you real strength
