Yes, more collective lists! And Carolyn's deckbuilding is my favorite one, I always come back to do a different deck for her even though their signatures and ability are not the strongest or favorites of mine.

Love the collective shared lists! Please keep doing more of them! Would love to see you all just break down your favorite investigators of every class in list as well. For those of us drawn to particular colors doing a top 3 yellow, top 3 blue, etc would be cool.

I think the Trait 0-5, main class 0-3 requirement can have some juice to it, as long as there's enough cross-class stuff with the trait. For example, I think it works a lot better in Marie Lambeau who gets, I think, 25 cards out of class from it than it does in Finn who gets like 4 (two of which are alternate colors of cards he would have as Rogue 0-5). But hopefully Scarlet Keys will beef up the non-rogue illicit cards a bit.

My favorites are the ones where they’re trying to use a trait or like Carolyn that’s trying to heal horror and can access outside classes that way.

Re: the trait-based deck building, it is a bit boring in Finn but is much more interesting in Marie. There are a ton of neat non-Mystic spells she can take. Finn needs more non-Rogue illicit cards.

Haha. the Dunwich part is accurate. I have had exactly that experience very recently, they picked Ashcan Pete and then after our first scenario, they wanted to replace one of their 5 off colour splash cards with a survivor card and I had to decide internally whether to suggest why that might be not ideal or just let it go. Was the end of the session in any case so just let it go, might bring it up before the next one. It was a magnifying glass for a chainsaw.

It would be nice to have other starter decks with an existing character (alternate art and weakness/signature similar to novellas), but it is a certain arch-type such as big hand. Give a bit more access to types that would otherwise require more cycles.

Tony can't play Dark Horse, because he can't play off-colour Assets. I agree, that blue is obviously most powerful for him, at least in multiplayer. But if you would build him seeker, then probably not to investigate with 3 book, as Bryn implied. There are some universally good options for him, like Shortcut, Inquiring Mind, Practiced Makes Perfect (there are still fine options in green with Three Aces and Momentum, even if he then has no access to VB and upgraded OP), No Stone Unturned... Like mentioned by Richard Ashlock, blue is probably the worst option in true solo, and he would appreciate a Working a Hunch or a "Look What I Found!" in that situation much more. So even if it does not support your play mode, it is still good, that they gave him options for others.

We never play solo, so we don't talk about solo in any of our analysis.

I don't think any colour is the correct or incorrect choice, for any player count. All the options fit very well with each of them. They all have their niches, and they are all different
