He’s a good friend of ours at home in Phoenix and he is a former cocktail critic and bartender so when James was planning out this video on Bloody Marys (which involved a visit to the Peppermill) he invited JK to plan out his trip to coincide with ours so we could do this video. JK is a treasure. As a former bartender for Trader Vic’s (when that was a thing) he is definitely a lot more knowledgeable on Bloodys than I ever could be. And yes, there was a lot going on with it, but, it definitely is something they are known for. James and JK seemed to love the horseradish notes and it surely surprised them over the final one that took a similar approach but was so basic and pedestrian. -Paul

Definitely ❤ this video, it's not Sunday until I have a BM😂... I usually won't go for a flashy Mary because as said: "Style over substance" 🤬But gotta put Favorite on the bucket list... The exception to the Flashy Mary seems to be Favorite Bistro. The other flashy ones had their pros and cons. That being said. I am glad that I got to try a few, even if they are not my choice of beverage. But I was also happy to try and get a few cocktails in at the end of the crawl 😂😂😂 Overlook’s menu looked so enticing that we overspent and overfilmed a bit more than we planned for that portion. That was the portion of the video where we had to take a table and were like… “These cocktails look too good to not try… Let’s also do the Guacamole 🥑” - And so we filmed a few extra cocktails for that segment. Cosmopolitan just does stuff differently and that’s never really a bad thing. My cocktail there was the equivalent of alcoholic Whole Foods cold pressed juice - and I couldn’t complain at just how refreshing that was. -Paul

It was something. As you likely saw one of those was definitely more flash and no substance, but suffice to say our winner was lots of flash but with actual taste and flavor Even though I am not a fan of this cocktail, I can see why it scored as high as it did and why they have it out on display at the front of the restaurant. Speaking of casinos Bloody Mary, we really like one at the Aria lobby bar. It's the best Bloody Mary among mostly all of the lobby bars on the Strip.

Guy Fieri continues to impress us. While we haven’t done food at his Las Vegas Kitchen (yet), I can definitely say that if the Mary was any indication, then his Vegas Kitchen at Linq could potentially be just as good as his Sports Kitchen was at Horseshoe. -Paul

Surprisingly, this was an easier one to film compared to others we have done. 99% of the route was planned, we went at as close to opening as possible for a lot of these places before the main rush, and we filmed our segment and moved to the next place. The first half of the video is definitely able to be done as a “bar crawl” if you hit those places in the earlier morning and the 2nd half is also doable, but I will say for the second half, you will likely encounter a decent wait between places. -Paul

Normally we do add price, however on this one it was definitely a “blur” and not every place has their cocktail prices listed front and center and because we filmed this one months ago it definitely was a challenge to try and remember each individual price. (We also were not joking when we mentioned going back to the room for a nap after filming this one) But what I can say regarding price is that most of the basic cocktails mostly adhered to the standard strip Cocktail prices (so at least $20/cocktail but up to $25) for places like Hash House, Guy Fieri, Caesars, Bellagio, Overlook, Mon Ami - with the larger and more over the top ones at Alexxas and Favorite being around $40 to $42 - If I remember as best as I can the Virgil’s one was about $30’ish and Peppermill was less than $20 -Paul

Fun fact: Initially it may have been James and I only, but either way I am a good sport, I do like trying new things and the secret to a great marriage is compromise so I was ready to down half if I had to but JK thankfully came up to celebrate Vegas with us and film this one so I was so happy for that and did at least try a sip while I played Cameraman 🎉🎉🎉 Half of the fun of this channel is getting outside the comfort zone and trying new things and I may just try a Bloody Caesar sometime. -Paul
