Before my current nice anvil stand, one that was made from sections of 2x4 screwed together with a very uneven and wobbly bottom. It worked, but just barely!

I love the fact that you make the absolute cleanest knives, but your workshop is😂 sooooo! Janky

Remind myself daily, most grateful for being able to weld and fabricate virtually anything. Comes in handy when I need a set of custom dies.

In my grinding area, I wanted it sealed off so I just saw some heavy duty plastic roll at the hardware store and bodged up a span to hang it all off across the space. Then stuck it onto the span with fibre reinforced tape, not the cheap stuff mind you like gaff tape, proper 100mph tape. Store bought. But after a while that stopped sticking because its Australia and even hotter than hell, so I just gradually wired up the pieces falling off with bits of stainless wire through the plastic and around the span. Originally I wanted to section it off with a proper frame + door with plywood, but then building wood got horrendously expensive for some reason and plywood got expensive.... and its not like I ever bothered.
