I might now try the Stiegl, eventhough I am sceptic because of the weak foam. Pilsners are maximum of bitterness, while Helles is more malt and finer hops. I avoid Pilsner, all other styles of Lager are fine😅 Top fermented beers I also avoid except for Huber weisse Kristall. So perhaps that is a tip 🍺Skål, kippis, g'suffa

Nice input about helles. True. Always noticed this slight difference. The problem here in Sweden thou is that a lot of the craft brewers also have their helles beer to have a prominent hops taste to it, which kinda takes away the point.

I'm a big fan of Stiegl myself. Another common beer I see often when visiting Austria is Wieselburger. When I visited the Stiegl brewery in Salzburg earlier this year, they had a lot of different varieties including some IPAs. I never rated Ottakringer much, but their Ottakringer gold is a bit better.
