I think you can keep upgrading an appliance to cycle through the possible variations if you don't like what you get. That's what it looks like on the wiki. But the designers should have noted that somewhere on the blueprint.

i think platestack-dishrack-sink-grabber-autoplater would be the best, (with what you have in this specific instance) because you just have to use the stacked plates in the start for a buffer and then wont have to worry abt the plater running out

Wonder how long ago these guys filmed this, the halloween update buffed the heated mixer, it's actually great for sides and pie desserts automation. Also guys when you get a 2nd research desk and it upgrades to a discount/blueprint desk just upgrade it again and it will eventually become a copier desk, a copier desk is much more valuble to get first over the other 2 desks and when you get your 3rd upgrade desk THEN you get a discount desk, copy it and buy it and upgrade it into a blueprint desk and copy that several times then you should be able to grab any blueprint you want when you need it
