So happy to see a new video with you guys! Thanks for your honest thoughts about the larger cage and the issues you were dealing with. Those of us who care, always want to give the most and best we can for our fur babies. But it has to be a balance between what is best for them and their needs and ours. Hearing your honest feedback will help others take into account manageability when deciding on how big to enlarge their cages so that everyone, including the pet parent, are happy.

Glad you’re back! The boys got a little bigger they’re cuteness overload!! My cage is big takes me a good hour in the morning and evening to clean because the loft is just as big as the main floor. The hay is on the top floor. It’s like cleaning 2 big cages. You are right it’s becoming a chore and not so enjoyable we’re working on a solution very quick.

I suggest making a litter box out of coroplast so then the hay can be in there and put a hay rack above the litter box so they have fresh hay. I also hate hay on fleece so I use litter boxes in both my cages and it makes cleaning the cages so easy to clean.

Hi! 😊 new subscriber here.... enjoying the couple of videos I’ve watched so far 🥰 just a quick question, I’m just about to change over to fleece, and have also bought one of those toggle bath mats... do you need to prepare them in any special way? Or just give them a normal wash before using for the first time?? 😁

Hello and welcome! 😊 ooh welcome to the wonderful world of fleece! Be ready for lots of washing, but it’s worth it. With the toggle mats just give them a wash and cut off the price tag, that’s it 👌🏻
