Interesting to see how the beet grows with the new variety and how the spraying goes. Are ye going to use the self propelled or use the small sprayer on one of the small masseys for that? Thought ye would have used more beet with all the cattle to be fed or it it only used for certain stock? do ye find drilling on the flat a bit awkward for pulling the beet and spraying? almost all beet sown down here (Cork) is done with Armer Salmon combination drills so easy to see the drill before the beet comes up. Used to set fodder beet on the flat for grazing years ago but found it difficult to see the rows for the 1st spraying. Never heard of anyone rolling the beet after sowing.

Great Video Phil! I remember beet when i was at school nearly 50 years ago! I was a day student, the borders used to pick the "mangels" and through them on a trailer for the calves to eat, thanks for sharing

Just a heads up Phil, especially with the uncle. Those antigen tests aren't always the most reliable. i had COVID and was testing negative throughout, positive test came a few days after feeling better! Keep up the good work!
