I like just hanging out at CA. I like the night shows and all the areas at night are beautiful especially Carsland and Pixar pier. I like the different takes on WDW rides. I enjoy almost every CA/Disneyland version of rides. I like taking my time at enjoying the day.

I live in NorCal and I get what you mean about the limited ride situation but that's why we love repeating rides, doing lots of merchandise shopping and character greets. We will be there during the food festival. Enjoy your trip.

I'm a Magic Key Holder here at Disneyland, and I fully agree with you on DCA. I as much as I enjoy the park, the most time I spend over there is about maybe 3 hours or less, and that's if they don't have a festival going on. You can easily spend way more time at Disneyland, since there's just so much more to do over there! I think some people here like DCA a little more because of the thrill rides it has, but other than that, most of us overall prefer Disneyland!

Us northerners woukd probably find the weather warm enough to get wet. Of course, my only time in Disney it was the mid-60s (in Florida) so I wasn't too sad that Splash Mountain was closed. I wore a sweater that day.

DCA has always felt light on attractions, but I don’t consider Tower/Guardians to be the same, or they’re copies in the same way Dinosaur and Indiana Jones are copies. There’s enough different between them for me to find it 100% worth going on regardless of park. The entertainment also used to be a lot stronger in DCA. Instant Concert, Just Add Water, Red Car Newsboys, Five and Dime, Minnie’s Fly Girls, those were the highlights of the park. Follow all that up with the evening dance party (ElecTRONica/Mad T Party) over in Hollywood Boulevard area and you’ve got a full day. But similar to WDW, when you go a lot, it also can shrink the amount of time you spend there. When Disneyland started becoming a half day park for me, that’s when I let my Magic Key go, and it’s still hard for me to do a full day at either park. 😢

I always laugh when I see forage of the cars ride ( when you are not on it ) cause it looks so slow but feels so fast when you are on it racing

I’ve only ever done 1 full day at DCA and 1 at Disneyland park. So can’t comment. Booked 9 park days with hopper for end of May so will see how much time I spend there vs Disneyland

We rode radiator springs week b4 Xmas posted time was 40min, we waited 25min, guess we got lucky, and this was midday. BTW we got on Tiana and got soaked with Temp below 50. I was miserable, never ran so fast in my life trying to get back to the hotel😂

Grizzly river run, some people are just there for a day or 2 from far away, so they'll bring a change of clothes and still go on to experience it :) You're very lucky to visit Disney locations often, not everyone is :)

DCA is definitely a partial day park. Disneyland is a open to close park. Food is better at DCA though

I was there at Disneyland on the 5th. I am so happy you guys got to visit the Disneyland Resort. DCA can be a 1/2 day park. Next time, do the Animation Academy at Hollywood Land. Love your videos.

It is sad when Orlando peeps come and dog on DCA. It is unique to California and it is great! It's just like us going to Orlando and complaining about Hollywood Studios.

@ I stayed at the Disneyland hotel in the Dvc tower for my first trip this spring. It was very expensive but I really liked being able to walk to the parks. Goofy’s kitchen was probably overpriced but part of that was because it was an event dining. I also ate at great maple which was more below average maple. Plaza Inn breakfast was worth it though because there were so many characters.
