Maybe different uniforms for chef versus waiter or at least different hats? With the hats, it's hard to tell you 2 apart unless you can see the face. I know Gluon is always at the chef's station, but for some reason, I keep forgetting.

I confirmed dining at your own restaurant works even with Carl's mod. You need to hire a host, at least one waiter and 1 chef. This is necessary for restaurants where you will be running from afar anyway. Travel to the restaurant. Make sure you are in a group and autonomy is off. Click on an empty table and click "Request table" with one sim. You will approach the host and get seated. For some reason, this glitched, but click on the same table and choose "Sit at this table". Do this with both sims. Then pick a chair and click sit. I disallowed new customers at this time. You may now order for the table. Watch for food and deliver all orders until yours comes. When done, click give up table, close the restaurant and leave the lot.

Yeah that lemon tree hasn’t sprouted back. (Also, lemon trees are year round, so they don’t need a greenhouse, just like garlic is perennial too.) Growing garlic for a Vampire hang out. 😂

You can reset your plants with Mc cc. You need to enable debug commands/cheats. Then in-game shift + right-click on a plant to get the debug plant menus, you can change the growth state back to mature. If you don’t catch the plants before their daily growth cycle in the morning you miss out on harvest for the day sadly, in my experience. Though it IS annoying to have to reset every plant every time they reset into the ground, but it’s the only ‘fix’ I’ve found.

How I fix my plants when they glitch, I put them in my inventory then put them back in the planter and it pops back up to the growth stage it was before. Not sure if you've been experiencing glitches with that still but I found that worked for me. Almost every time I would leave my lot and come back, my plants would glitch.

I don't remember if this is an option on community lots, but sometimes I've had luck getting the glitched out plants to regrow if I put them in my household inventory and then place them again. That said, I swear in the past putting the plant in my inventory and then placing would cause them to glitch out, so try with caution.
