It's been a busy couple of weeks and we finally get to catch our breath. We've had some issues with our RV lot in Montana, so we've been spending an enormous amount of time trying to get the layout of the RV lot correct before we head south for the winter. Kellie has been busy preparing long-storage food for our snowbird season and she shares some dehydrating tips for RV life.
Beef Jerky Marinade: 2/3 cup Worcestershire Sauce
2/3 cup Soy Sauce
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2/3 teaspoon pink salt

Great job on the jerky, it might have cost you a lot more doing it yourself but what’s important is you know the cut beef and the ingredients, especially yours have no chemicals and or preservatives.

It's all weather dependent Jeff. They are dumping gravel on all the Phase 2 roads this week and will lay asphalt down very soon. Once Phase 2 lots close then they can get started on Phase 3.

Jim, you should put a reolink camera that connects to your cell phone service in a tree on the very back of your property. Then, you can keep track over the winter and see if they do work. It's kind of neat to do that. Don't know if you have cell service at that property.

Hey guys! Your beef jerky looks great. Think about trying Milanesa for jerky sometime. Usually can find it at a Mexican grocery store (carniceria) thinly sliced. Very little fat...almost none.
