There's something about seeing a baptism that moves me to the core. Way to go, Parker! Years ago when I was living in an area where there were cottonwood trees, I suffered horrible allergies, like really bad! I'm not certain it was cottonwood but I determined that I was not going to live with it and with prayer and research, I learned that fresh local bee pollen taken before the allergy season would help combat the allergies. I took it for two seasons, had very few allergy 'attacks those years, and never had a problem again. The beekeeper I got it from stored it in jars in the freezer. She won awards for her honey and said bee pollen should always be stored frozen. Hopefully, you can look into it. It was a miracle cure for me.

I agree about the baptism! I always cry, no matter who it is, it’s very moving! & Wow, thanks for the tip! Yeah, I live literally right next to cottonwood too which DOES NOT HELP my allergies lol but I’ve always struggled with allergies since I was a baby, so thanks for that! I’ll have to look into it.🫶🏼

🇦🇺I watched Homesteading Family where Caroline got her girls to make cookie mix’s in a jar. They keep them in the pantry ready for when they have company over or a quick treat for the holidays. I made them last year for the Christmas holidays (like your summer holidays) for single parents in our Church. I made a Christmas tote bag with 3 different cake mix’s. They were a hit. Snickerdoodle cookies mix, Christmas cookie mix, Chocolate Crinkle cookie mix etc. great to have in a pinch, add your egg or whatever required and bake. I have several in the pantry. I made crushed garlic in a mason jar top up with honey, leave for 6 weeks and take as needed for colds and flues. You can eat the garlic or drink the honey. The best.

Lexx, I will never forget this video, Hun. Being able to see Parker get baptized brought memories of when my Daddy baptized me. (He was a Southern Baptist preacher) and when all my babies were baptized. Watching you and your Momma canning together made me miss my Momma so much. I started canning with her and my Granny when I was about 5 or 6. We gardened and canned together every year up until she passed in 2000. Don't ever take these precious times with your Momma and family for granted, Hun. I just love you and your family very much. Canned beef stew is the best. We really do not need to can here in New Zealand as we can buy fresh vegetables all year round. I was curious and decided to give it a try. I love it, and have canned chicken, beef stews, pumpkin for pumpkin pies so far. I am looking to do pulled pork soon. Gee I could almost taste that cookie, but stopped as I am eating the keto way right now.

Don't you make a gravy type of liquid for your beef stew, if so do you make it to preserve, or do you add it in after? (I'm used to dinte Moore beef stew type and I like the gravy)
