We follow several vloggers during each week, but without any doubt, we can’t wait for Sunday evenings when ‘Me an Mon Ami’ are on. You always make us laugh and you always show some beautiful places in the south of France. We are both OAPs and watch KZbin all the time. Such a pleasant change from the old boring ITV and BBC crap. Really looking forward to watching your adventure to Ukraine ….such a shame you can’t strap Mr Boo in the back seat as we’ll miss his funny facial expressions. You've got to do something with that magnificent scenery. That drone tip was quite interesting too. I've noodled about with drones, but have run into the problems that you described. I hadn't thought that a smaller one might be more successful.

As a road trip, I would always drive the Citroën Ami along the coast through France and Spain to the southernmost point of Europe near Tarifa and then possibly drive back to France via the westernmost point of Europe on the Portuguese Atlantic coast and northern Spain. Thank you for the many videos with great landscape and beautiful villages and the impressive drone shots.

For future Elton trips, longer then his regular range, why dont you ask your viewers if you can charge up there?! You can probably establish a map and see where you can go without using a public charger if necessary. So many possibilities...

2.: Yes, but you need to use a schuko adapter. If it's a tethered charging station, you need a different adapter. And you won't get more than about 2kW

@@thorbjrnhellehaven5766 thank you, so far we only ever charged at home, but tomorrow our type 2 adapter will be delivered and all the charging stations around us are at least 22kw or more.

@@mjack1935 in my opinion, the lack of type2 input for Ami, is one of few slightly negative things. Usually nothing to worry about, but there is one situation that's nice to be aware of. If the charging station is set up for load sharing with other stations and/or load balancing with the building, it is possible that the station will try to send a signal to not use more than 6A or 1.4 kW. 1. Probably the charging station will detect over current, and shut you off; if you try to charge an Ami, while it wants to restrict charging lower than the Ami will draw. 2. Possibly you won't notice it, in case the station still accepts it. 3. If the charging installation is poorly set up, it could shut off for all vehicles. That's not anything I would expect, but a plausible worst case.

10k 👏 Looking forward to the autumn! My trip suggestion , which seems feasible using ABRP which has the Ami, is taking Route Napoleon to Grenoble and then back through the Rhône valley. That way it becomes a round trip and follows my rule of never taking the same way back 😀

Brilliant plans. Yours is definitely my favourite channel watch on a Sunday evening. I’d also suggest what a couple of others have said about incorporating the Route Napoleon into your adventures. Alas it’s many years since we took that road but it was a brilliant experience and we stayed somewhere along it in a haunted castle ( allegedly). We were the only guests so it was doubly spooky. Had thought in recent times that you needed a reset ... the formular was becoming - (nothing personal, you understand) , - a little hackneyed and stale - just so many narrow alleys and lunches out - it risked becoming becoming too repetitive and formulaic. Long Haul drivers in an ami? After a 250 km Trip from Hasselt to Siegen we know the AMI is capable. Charging for hours is the timekiller. You should install PV on the roof to extend the lags. Alpes is an extra challenge. Better start with shallow landscapes. Good luck and stay bulletfree.

i know it sounds weird but the reson why so many views and less abos is the youtube algorithm. it trys make you popular because the watchtime is so high but the most interest is the ami how its drives and how it performs and you guys are honest abot that thing you tell us what is good and bad at it but other channels are bashing it or say everything is rely good and you dont need a oher vehicle ever but this clearly driven from money for this review. but you guys living with it and have fun with it most at the time ^^ i mean yea the winter sucks a bit with it also the exreme heat in the summer but all in all you have fun and can do now things you could not before, maybe too but not that easy

I think you should do some KZbin shorts. I don't like them personally but I watched another channel that tested a short and while the short didn't make much money it did have a lot of views and it brought in a substantial amount of new subscribers. You should cut out an exciting piece from a video and make it into a short and see what it gets you. I am thinking of bit in the narrow streets of Haut de Cagnes where you go through the very narrow street and exit at the bins, that could be an interesting short.

Congratulations boys, I can't believe it's two years since I watched you take delivery of the Ami and have watched every episode since! I started to watch because I doubted very much whether this type of vehicle had a place on the roads and in the society of today but quickly came to realise that not only does it indeed enrich the lives of you both but it has gained a place in my heart too. Used as you use it we have wonderful adventures together within it's limits, and sometimes outside of them as you have been very imaginative in the small additions to make Elton a very useful and practical mode of transport where you live. I still very much doubt though that living by the windy seaside in Lancashire, though very flat, the weather would make it a life enhancing purchase as it clearly has for you and all of us watching. Long may you both, Twiggy and Elton continue to entertain, amuse and inform us. Your channel has grown because you’ve interesting stories to tell and there are new places, ideas and things to explore. Let me tell you briefly what I hate about Hollywood: its gone stale, derivative and they’re rehashing old material. Reality shows work because no content creator is copying what someone else is doing and I really like it. You guys put a lot of thought and heart into your content and it shows.
