Oh my goodness, Laura was absolutely ADORABLE when she was doing her makeup and she stretched a little and said "I'm gonna see my Nonna soon" with a big grin on her face! Omg it reminded me of my niece (she's 4, lol) but that childlike, sweet and a little bashful excitement is just so cute!

Sometimes flying is better than driving for hours. I was actually on a really short flight this month too from dallas to Wichita falls which was barely 30 minutes I was so taken aback by that lol

You guys are certainly 'logging the miles' (or kilometers) with all of the trips to New York,and all of the flying you are doing! The flight to the wedding was a fabulous idea, Joe! Last weekend, Tim's friend took me up in his two-seater plane to see what it is like. Tim has been working to get his private pilot's lisense recently, and he only has his test flight left to do. I have also flown a fair bit over the years, but this plane, one of the ones that Tim he has been flying, is the smallest one I have ever been in, for sure. We flew over our farm, and we were so low (less than 2000 feet) that I thought I saw Wile E, lying in the front yard, awaiting our return! It was rather, bumpy, I am not going to lie!! You looked beautiful,Laura,for your tv appearance to introduce the masses to your cookbook when it is released (I am assuming!)! Your excitement is palpable about your upcoming trip to see Nonna, your Mom, your brother, and other family members in Italy (not many sleeps now, missie!!!) I hope you are able to get everything done, packed, and ready for your trip, and that you have a safe and enjoyable flight (and a delicious German breakfast when you have your stopover!). You both have worked so incredibly hard since your last trip there,that you deserve to have an awesome time,and a lovely break. It likely won't be relaxing (trips home to visit family seldom are, but you can sleep when you get back home!), Hope you are able to post some videos while you are away. Funny story about busses receiving tickets in NYC... Every since I was 4 years old during Christmas time I wanted to visit NYC. This was all due to Home Alone. 14 years later in my first quarter of college I had the opportunity to take a bus trip for charity with a friend to NYC. We get to NYC in a crowded bus with obnoxious people who talked from 9:30pm-8am. Low and behold our bus was sitting illegally at the Brooklyn bridge and got a ticket, the bus was found to be uninsured to drive and got a sticker placed on the window saying "not permitted to drive". I was stuck in NYC 17 hours away from home and no plausible way back... The bus took off an we returned to our schedule like nothing happened.

Switched to Mac based a few years ago, still have a few windows systems around however heavy user of power director and love it.. Use it on my mbp through parallels.. Just had to tweak the config to suit the processor ram and ssd.. Love it.. Windows 8 really turned me away from windows boxes.. Love you guys..

"The amount of bread consumption that is going to go down...." Love It. Tight dress in the heat...try one those short dress slips (under garment type) from Target. Those slips with some baby powder on your skin helps to stay cool in clingy dresses. So comfortable.

The key to passport photos is to take your own. Mine is amazing because I took about 50 photos before I picked one. There are free websites that will make the cropping easy and you can just send the photo to your local hour photo place or print it yourself. Been doing it for years for entire extended family.
