My Airstream Agapé and I are up near Charlevoix, MI for a few weeks. There’s another Solo Streaming Sister who lives near here. Yesterday we went to a rustic state park to hike Lake Michigan. I grew up here. Hit us up if you want to meet up or need a place to park. Also- I have friends who are having Drifter building their van now.

Hi Sarah. If you have time while you are driving through Arizona stop at the Petrified Forest National Park! All of the trails are dog friendly!! I stopped there on a cross country road trip with my dog earlier this year and it was one of our favorites. Even if you don't get out to hike the drive through the park is beautiful and worth the entry fee. We started at the south entrance and drove to the north entrance which ends right at the highway so it was very convenient to just hop back on the road and keep trekking. Safe travels!

If you enjoy BBQ, my favorite BBQ restaurant in the country is in Phoenix, and I’ve had BBQ in all the normal hot spots. There are three locations of Bobby Q’s. The original is off of the 17.

You'll want to take a little case of those sweet-hot pickles with you and have the famous Tony Packos hot dog. On their walls famous people have signed the buns. That's quite the setup in the Jeep, I've never tried camping in mine like that. I live up in the Boulder, CO area and my brother is out in KC, so I do the I-70 drive quite a bit. There isn't too much of interest along I-70 between Denver and KC. If you are into aviation there's on old F-14 at the park off the highway in WaKeeney, KC, sometimes I stop there to take a break. Wilson Lake State park is a nice place to camp in central KS, I've stayed there a few times in the Airstream. If you like BBQ, I highly recommend Q39 in KC! Missouri has a rail trail (Katy Trail) that runs across the state and follows the Missouri River. If you feel like getting out for a good walk or run, Rocheport is a good stop and check that out, some nice bluffs on one side and the river on the other. Further east in MO, about 20 miles south of I-70 there is a small town German town called Hermann, they have some winery's, a brewery, and a distillery. If you go someplace like that, check the hours first. I think it's a neat place but I've always been cycling the trail when I've been there. That's about as far east on I-70 as I know. Have a good trip!

@@NomadicSarah No problem! I thought of another one if you are looking for unusual things for a video… the Giant Van Gogh Painting in Goodland, KS. It’s just north of the highway. If you are in the Denver/Boulder area, there are some great dog friendly hikes with excellent views just west of CU in Boulder.

I think taking the northern route instead of just going through the Plains would be more beautiful. You could make your way across ND, SD, MN, and WI and then take the ferry across Lake Michigan to get into MI without driving through Chicago.

You need to get yourself a gun. If you already have one great. If not, the time with your family soon would be a great time to get one and practice with it. It is a crazy world and you need to be protected. And of course don’t tell anyone on the channel that you have one. There should not be a problem with having one if you keep it in the residential part of the van. Not accessible to you while your driving. Good Luck with the new van.
