My daughter was winner number two for the piano, Bethany Elliott (57:35) and was so excited to win. We waited and waited for an email that never came. She texted them and they said she did win and would also throw in a bag and a book. Now they are saying that she is not the winner and they sent the confirmation to a different email. They should've been more specific if there were 2 Bethany Elliott's. Her name is not that common. She is very disappointed! :(

I learned how to read music just by going to school every day. I used to watch my uncle, Buster Smith write music as he could play and teach music and compose also. My Grandmother would make me finally get off of the piano about 8 or 9 at night. My Dad played piano and clarinet but he did not read music. I found it hard to play by ear once I could read. We did not have a piano in our house but uncle Buster did. There has been music in each generation of our family all God given talent. Uncle Buster wrote 1 O'Clock Jump recorded by Count Basie. Uncle Buster also mentored Charlie Parker. I am taking notes of what you are teaching us. 4+3= Major Chords 3+4= Minor Chords Thank you so much.

I was at the doctors office and missed this. :( I started when I was 6 yo discovered the guitar and played that until my arthritis stopped me. I can still curl enough to play a piano but do not have one. Social security is not enough to buy one. I really miss my music and want to return to the piano and start again.
