I am pulling for you Alex. You will get your Red Hat. I have learned watching you that you are goal oriented. And you achieve your goals. So, I am saying that in confidence. Years ago as a child I fell in love with speed. I read about many forms of speed. I even did some racing later on. My first studies about speed were road racing, then stock cars. During that I learned of a few that tried Land Speed racing. I was hooked. I then learned that land speed racers were sometimes speed races on water, literally water speed racing. Oh the tug that speed gets in our heart.

She has so many feathers in her cap, however the real standout for me is her ability to tell a story, describe a situation, explain technical details that the everyday person can understand... her smile, knowledge, laughter, hands on skill, joy, excitement, her whole persona and belief in herself are just some of her attributes that i enjoy about her!!!

Growing up in Salt Lake we've been around Bonneville racers all my life. My Mom went out there in the 1930's with my Grandpa. I never made it out there. But finally went just to watch my drag racing buddies in 2006. You're right, it's hard to explain. I tell everyone they need to go just to see the pits, the World's best car show! Good luck this year and hopefully run into you. 😁
