This is like watching my own life complete with baby getting louder as I try to talk…my husband almost got knocked off a roof cutting a huge tree down last weekend. 🙏🏼 for fast healing.

My husband Jay is a tree guy and he fell 40 feet one time but he is alive and God undertook amazing!, it's a long story but God healed him so much and though humbling our church people gave us money to keep us going through 6 months. God is good!! The Lord is your healer he is bigger than all our troubles so we are believing for a complete healing for Jason!!

Paul had a logging accident in 2011 and it was HARD. He had a log kick back and snapped his lower leg. Broke both bones. He ended up with compartment syndrome and needed a fasciotomy and skin graft. For a hard working man it was so difficult to be laid up, not only in the hospital for a week, but the weeks after recovering. I remember the day he came home from the hospital he had to get on the gator and drive around the farm to check things out. People were wonderful and helped out and I became a farmer and a nurse for a while too. We got through it and you will too. Prayers for healing.

So sorry to hear about your foot. I had foot surgery 6 weeks ago. Having problems with the foot is a huge challenge. I highly recommend a knee scooter. It's a life saver. I can't do crutches either. Prayers for a speedy recovery.

You guys! If you have access to a chiro or functional medicine doc near you that does cold laser therapy, I urge you to look into it!!! It encourages cell regrowth from the inside out, speeds recovery, and of course can be used in tandem with any other treatment(s). 💜💜 Praying for y'all in this hard season.

I don't know if it will make his pain worse, but when you get to this point, look into getting a knee scooter. It was like a miracle for Jon to go from crutches to the scooter last summer with his break. It allowed him to be upright and hands-free at the kitchen counter, in the bathroom, etc. We ended up just ordering one on amazon because the places our insurance would cover had a waiting list. We were able to sell it for the same price when we were through. I can't imagine that pain though! Ugh, so sorry! I know it isn't comparable, but after my c-sections the only thing that would cut through the pain and not make me feel loopy was oxycodone. I know it can be addictive, but I never had an issue. Some pain meds just don't work for some people, so if the pain remains extreme, maybe look into another narcotic. Praying fo you all! The first few weeks were so hard for me, so prayers for you too, Julie!

Prayers to your family! If Jason has no cuts. Boil water with oregano and soak a cloth when water is warm. Pat his foot with the cloth, that will help him a lot.

That’s so tough! Wow, we’ll be praying for you guys. We are facing some challenge with my husbands knee (a major injury from years ago giving him lots of pain) and back from lifting our medically fragile daughter who is 60lbs and non mobile- so his mobility is down a lot and it’s so hard to do normal things we only have 5 but not having the help of the other parent makes a lot of things so much harder.

Oh Jason, I feel your pain. I had a similar experience where my big toe was almost amputated by a wooden chair. I’ve birthed children with no pain meds, this toe pain was THE WORST pain of my life, wayyyy worse then childbirth. As you were talking my toe was aching for you. I am so sorry. The nerve pain is so incredibly bad and unfortunately it just takes time to heal. Try putting your arnica gel around your foot, not directly on the injury, maybe it will help?? Praying for y’all, for endurance and a quick recovery.

Oh man, prayers definitely going up for y'all. My husband got cellulitis in his leg once and was down and out, on crutches for 6 weeks. It was very difficult seeing the man of the house not being able to do all his manly duties. Definitely know how y'all feel. We love our husbands, and it hurts the heart seeing them like this. My dad took downs many hundreds of trees in his lifetime. Tree removal is an extremely dangerous job/profession. He never let us take anything for granted during the process. Not saying or implying you did. It just can’t be said enough. I am sorry you are going through this, but I’m glad help is on the way. This accident could have brought everything to a screeching halt. Instead, it will move on. Narcotics are a mixed blessing at best. I hope and pray 🙏🏼 all goes well.

If the Hackberry is already cut into logs you could take 4' sections of the smaller logs that are say 3-6" in diameter and inoculate them with mushroom spawn. Check out "field and forest". That could make something good out of a bad situation if there's enough time or mental energy to inoculate logs one afternoon.
