I can’t believe I’m gonna do this again, but I’m gonna pull ANOTHER 🤓 and right a SECOND essay on this album. I’ve listened to most stuff in this album, but then I saw this. I’ve already talked about this in my Hidden in The Sand comment, but I’ve been through things, seen things, and the my vision of the world as a whole has shifted. Haiku, Hidden in The Sand, All of my Friends/We’re Gonna Win (and maybe Spring and a Storm) are my favorite covers, because it reflects my situation so well it’s kinda frightening yet cool at the same time. This song has helped me struggle through letting go of my pain better than all the others. Idk what else to add here but, *I think I’m all that I need* (see what I die there). This is absolutely amazing. I love it so much. The effort you put into these goes so underappreciated and frankly it's a crime. It's so genuinely admirable how different yet similar; afar yet close together you make both the original and covers seem, they're different songs yet at the same time so clearly the same, if that makes any sort of sense. This is really cool, especially the part where you did it voices only, that sounded surprisingly great, it's truly admirable you were able to get it to work so well and fit in with the rest of the song; it's a feat many others can struggle to champion. :]

going back to this song, it's... weird analysing the voices tells me that the heart is singing iGW and the mind is singing AomF, but this is the exact opposite of their personalities. analysing later songs (TME and S&aS) we see that the mind is an incredibly narcissistic character, even his voice resembles a literal machine; it just feels wrong for him to sing a song called "all of my friends"

Okay, I know this is a month old comment but I was literally thinking about this too, but considering Heart is all about how this person is feeling and Mind is all about being logical, I realized, maybe it's like this: He FEELS like he's going to force himself to get through everything alone. He doesn't care what he has to do, he'll push through it and he's gonna make it, even if it's hell along the way. Logically, he knows his friends are with him and will help along the way. They'd probably even remind him that everything will be fine. Just my interpretation?
