In my opinion jay needed someone who would be both his strong side and his weak side, he also needed someone who would be able to rain him in as well as make sure he whoops ass, but most importantly he needed someone who knew Who HE was both inside and out and hailey was that girl for him and him for her, he needed that girl that could bring the dragon out and also tame said dragon
