Hi! We are Phil and Alex! After leaving California in an RV, traveling full time, and helping our littlest with an open heart surgery, we've settled down in Tennessee. We found our homestead land and are learning each day how to live a more sustainable life. We are a family grown through the miracle of Adoption & Infertility Treatments. Our precious daughters are Kinsley Grace (7 years old), Callie Jo (6 years old), and Cassidy Drew (2). I had the same amount of egg count at age 41. I now have two little babies. And 1 baby on ice but unfortunately with my last pregnancy I lost my uterus due to placenta problem. I feel sad I won't never get to meet her or him. But pretty satisfied with what God has blessed us with. I wish your family all the best. ❤

I just wanted to encourage you with my story. After my stillbirth, I had a retrieval with only 4 follicles (2 of which didn’t grow enough), 3 eggs were retrieved and we ended with 2 embryos. One of them just celebrated her first birthday🎉 Please remember you just need one healthy embryo to succeed!

OMGosh!!!!! I’m so glad that Cassidy got to meet the person who helped you guys conceive in person and not just through a computer screen!!! I totally know how you feel about liking your farm, I lived in the city for three months and it was agonizing so I moved back to my farm. I always tell everyone “green acres is the place for me, farm living is the life for me” I’m sure the writers of that show and the theme song didn’t have an idea how true to life their ideas were.

Yes the attitude of your provider is SO IMPORTANT. While my doctor was holding the IUI catheter with my feet in the stirrups, he said “when are we going to move on to something that actually works?” Meaning IVF. Meanwhile IVF got me only one embryo, and cost $20,000. A little hope and positivity over the current procedure would have gone a long way.

When I was going through ivf my sister was going to come with me to an appointment for moral support when my husband was out of town. Then I remembered that she was going to have to bring her six month old with her 😔. When I told her the baby would have to stay home, she was really confused. I just looked at her and said, “You can’t bring a baby to a fertility clinic, Emily. It’s our ONLY safe space!” 😂

I'm turning 38 this year. I'm a single Mom to a teenager. And I've had failed marriages and a couple miscarriages, lost 3 babies after I adopted my kiddo. I still hold out hope to have the life experience of having a successful pregnancy someday. Whether I find the right partner, or continue doing it alone. My Mom was 46 when she had me... I feel for you i did work for a fertility doctor and those patients were like our family we took good care of our patients they cried we cried the laugh we laugh some of these Fertility clinics and doctors its all about the money! Alex, I pray that you will have peace, no matter what. If you look back on your historic you tube posts, you prayed to God and begged Him to allow you to experience the wonder of growing a baby in your womb, just once, and you'd be thankful. He, in His love and mercy, granted that fervent prayer for you. What I see happening now is that you've changed, and are saying 'oh, I really didn't mean that prayer God, one is not enough'. Please don't spend so much of your emotional energy in the wanting/grieving mode. I say these things in such love. Please open your mind and heart to a different answer. Philip is trying to very subtly hint that he would be ok if you're just done. I pray that God's will be done, and that your love is multiplied above what you think or ask.
