Just like the last dropshipping wave (or any arbitrage opportunity), the main thing is to remember that whatever “business” you build slinging products on TikTok isn’t actually a “business” it’s a money making hack. The biggest mistake people make is that they over hire and build infrastructure like it’s a real long term business. If you’re gonna get into this, grab the cash and bail early when it doesn’t work any more. Don’t get your cousins and parents to leave their job so they can work for you.

That’s not the full scope of it though. There’s a matter of wanting to prove it out. Some things work isolated, or are hitting hard for reasons you’re not fully clear on yet. If you prematurely share that, you’re doing your fan base a disservice.

I saw this solopreneuer candle maker in Spain and she makes like €50k a month in revenue with handmade candles…which is not millions, but still that’s a lot of candles 😅 Please more ideas pods 🙏🏼

Only problem with doing this tik tok marketing (aka influencer marketing) is that the bigger, more talented influencers (with bigger networks) will not try your product unless 1) you pay them for their content or 2) your product fits their brand. Still a viable strategy but I don't think it's as easy as it sounds

So proof for their capabilities of being mad attention architects! Got me thinking to pivot my beverage business or at least spice it up a little bit.

Cookie brands in uk are doing 100’s of thousands a month on TTS. I tried pitching a client who had a cookie brand to pivot from b2b to b2c TTS they declined. I even asked them to supply me products they declined. Some will be kicking themselves after this gold rush, but not me 😂

I rarely leave comments on KZbin-this is only my second in 20 years. The blonde-haired guy on the left is incredibly negative, making it hard to get through the entire clip. Whenever the other guy shares something positive, engaging, or educational, the blonde-haired guy interrupts with negative remarks and poor examples. It’s like he’s a total negative Nancy, which makes their reactions difficult to watch.

Do you usually watch their videos? Their dynamic works really well, it’s kind of like having an angel and devil on your shoulder. I quite enjoy Sam, as much as he can sometimes come across negative….but to be honest most people would come off that way in comparison to Shaan who is an excitable and enthusiastic ray of sunshine. Give Sam a chance though, they’re great together! 😊

@@goldrose3019as a long time viewer I have to disagree with you. Sam used to be so much more playful with Shaan and used to give him his “bro moments”. Not anymore. I think it changed when Shaan sold the milk road and had a similar amount of success as Sam so he no longer had the big brother advantage that he had before. Sam has a very fragile ego.

@ I’m also a long time viewer and he’s also become a father and weathered some ventures in that time, he might just lack the energy, I’ve seen him brag about shaans wins on his behalf or encourage shaan to brag on his own behalf enough to know he is happy for him. It’s one for us not to agree on this, I just have such a soft spot for both of them because of the things this podcast has helped me weather.
