Türk Sanat Müziği (translation: Turkish Art Music) is a phenomenal Turkish genre that is a clash of middle eastern and western music in the 60's and 70's (Euro west, not American west... Though it is also influenced by Argentinian Tango) Zeki Müren was a Turkish superstar and REALLY westernized the genre, but Nesrin Sipahi is my preferred example. Yıldızların Altında, Gözleri Aşka Gülen, and Ankara Rüzgârı (all by Sipahi) have uniquely excellent musical structure and sound design you could make content with. They are truly astonishing and beautiful works of art. I really think you'll appreciate them as a musician
