Your channel has truly been comforting for me, as I relate to not fitting in the "box" the world of Christianity tries to make us feel we have to stay in. Just.....thankyou for being brave enough to speak openly about your deconstruction and how it's not something we have to feel guilty about.

Same! I grew up in a pretty liberal Christian household with parents who didn’t try to shelter me from everything in the world. When I was in middle school they let me watch “Sex Sent Me to the ER” “I am Jazz” and “Big Frieda” because it was educational and they understood there are different people in this world. They didn’t tell me to break off my LGBTQ or atheist friends. When they gave me the talk they didn’t tell me to wait until marriage, just how to protect myself against stds and pregnancy and what consent is. I went to sleepovers, been to lots of concerts that had stoners everywhere, clubbingand on vacation with friends. I’ve drunk alcohol at get togethers before I was 21 and smoked weed. My parents let me live. But most importantly they never pushed Christianity down my throat. I did decide to give my life to Christ at 10 and knew what was going on. The older I get, the more I realize it’s all a journey full of ups and downs. There will be doubts, questioning, and even seasons of unbelief. It’s just life. The problem came in with college Christian ministries. I feel like most members are too sheltered and lack understanding of the real world around them. Like I’m down to go to a rock concert or hang out in mixed gender groups. One thing I found weird is how segregated they are by gender. The guys would act so awkward around the girls. I just felt different from the others but thankfully there’s a few of us with loose screws I guess.

Would this not be great if this channel was about "God" and "sin" and his Word the Bible and about the two sexual sins ( "Fornication and Adultery" ) God talks about over and over again in his Word ! Sadly it seems most want to hear how they have been misled and let down by religion thus any behavior okay including LGBT behavior ! Read for example Romans 1: 26-32 where God addresses LGBT behavior head on and calls it an "error" ! Non the less this channel ( for example) has praised LGBT behavior and lifestyle on so many occasions I have lost track of the count ! PS: Read Romans 10; 9 and 10 ( for some good news) on the two things we must all do to have our names written in the roll book of Heaven the" book of life" talked more about in last book of the Bible ( Revelation) !

She’s discussed LGBTQ issues and the Bible extensively in past videos- your comment weirdly assumes intent, and I doubt you’d consider her discussing ‘sin’ unless it aligns with you pov.

@@haze7972 Hannah; Hello ! Yes Brenda has discussed LGBT issues and she thinks God is okay with LGBT behavior and she ( as a so called Christian) is okay with that behavior as well ! When I have pointed her to Gods Word the Bible and specifically Romans 1:26-32 where God takes on the subject she apparently ignores what God says ! And that is just one example ! She refuses to talk about the two sexual sins ( "Fornication and Adultery" ) while obsessed with sex in general after divorcing her husband and now with boyfriend etc !
