TJ Majors had a suggestion a week or two ago on DBC that I fully agree with. If they’re going to insist on have this ridiculous damage repair clock then the teams should be allowed to attempt repairs either on pit road or in the garage. Start the clock when they hit their pit stall or when their car is put in the garage bay. If they can’t fix it within the seven minutes then their day is done, but they should at least have the chance to salvage as much of the race as possible.

As far as HP: bigger the track less HP. Smaller the track- most HP. So Super speedways have the lowest (510), intermediates (670), this means short tracks should have around 850. It’s not rocket science. You can’t run the same package at all tracks, it’s just not feasible.

If rubber on the track is the "issue" just have a power washer attached to the back of a truck and wash the track off the night before the race.

Cars are way too aero sensitive. Not a busch fan. Hope he can figure it out. We see everyone including larson wrecking this current car

The cars will go too fast. Probably around 240-250mph. Nascar doesn't want them going that fast. The car's safety systems and sometimes even the track's facilities (like catch fences) aren't engineered for crashes at those speeds.
