you might wand to keep a few of those hid lamps in the ceiling and use the led for over the bench. hid lights cover more area than led.

Not incandescent lighting, it's known as discharge lighting usually Mercury Vapour or Metal Halide lamps. Love the new shop and looking forward to some awsome new content.

I think they should look into getting some car storage racks for the back wall. Put the projects that are not active up top and the active ones on the bottom. So that way you keep more floor space and keep the cars out of harms way.

I suggest you get some infrared heaters. A few small heaters to heat th objects and the floor will surely help. My father had a body show ever since I was little till I was in my 40's and he always used infrared heating.. It is more efficient and way faster.

They have infrared heaters that run on natural gas. Those are fabulous. I will include a link for where to buy what I mean. When you get the LED bulbs in, keep the current bulbs, I'm pretty sure their expensive and will sell well (used in grow rooms)

with that broken and over flowing tool box in a beautiful shop i highly suggest you watch kijiji for the mechanics that retire, get to into debt or lose their job and sell their tripple bay or larger snap on and matco box full of tools for under 10k, hell even 5k sometimes which is a insane deal if you have the money saved up

You could easily build a mezzanine floor above the car storage to take full advantage of the space over the cars. I'm thinking from, say, the second last post in the workshop to the back wall.
