So lucky to go to Korea! That was my dream but my husband was in the Navy so we got stationed in Hawaii. Thank your husband for his service. My hubby was in for 24 years!

Oh wow how exciting! Best of wishes on your moving journey ❤️. I know it’s not fun 🥲. My husband and I might be going to Korea too , but we are waiting for a final say from the commander. I say “might” because we never know with military lol. But fingers crossed that we do ! I’ve always wanted to visit Korea 😭 & my husband will be closer to home which is the Philippines 🇵🇭.

Flexibility is the key to airpower - and to life! Good thing you've got a flexible career too. Don't forget about military hops. The year will fly. Do you have a minimum amount of flight hours you need to work at UA or can you swap, drop, and trade endlessly? You've got this. I grew up as an Army Brat, lived 9 months at a Navy base, and served a 30+ year career in the Air Force. When I lived in RI, the bags at the commissary said, Military Spouse - the toughest job in the military.

Wow,that's a change. When my husband was in Okinawa, military paid for us to move there,they paid for all our healthcare,housing,they moved us back to the states.

It was probably command sponsored! The base we are at in South Korea is a short tour, only a year, and non command sponsored.

For us, it is one year unaccompanied.
