What you should do is update all the transfers between games, so for example in FIFA 11 Jack Wilshire and Neymar should start at AC Milan, to keep continuity in the save. Brilliant idea btw.

I remember discovering a long shot that almost always went in in Fifa 10. Just stand at the wing, 20 meters into the opponents half and do a fully charged shot (maybe it was finesse shot) and at least 80% chance of it going in if you have someone with decent shooting stats.

next team should be a smaller team and the argument being you were sacked from AC Milan, maybe something to do if you don’t match the board’s expectations/beat a record? keeps it semi realistic and means there an actual punishment to not beating a record rather than “oh well we failed”

Large saves are boring in fifa because (not to brag) if you build a decent team within 3 seasons, you'll be able to fly through the entire game. I dont even buy high profile players and i can get a 4th division team challenging for European cups in season 4 or 5. The opposite teams dont build their players well. The AI model for transfers has no cause or plan. Anyone can buy any players

I stopped playing fifa, from 2004 to 2017. I really feel like I missed the golden age of this game. Even though those first few years were fantastic. Think my first was 99’. Fc 24 is a pile of garbage as a strictly career mode fan. I would get a refund if I could. What’s most disappointing and not fifas fault, is there’s no Ronaldo, (r9) no Pirlo, no Gerrard, no great older players. It makes me feel older than 35 😂 The players I could list that don’t play the beautiful game anymore makes me want to shed a single tear.
