Unfortunately after recording this, I've found it isn't possible to change their names, although custom characters can be created. What I will do then, is the people that say they want in, will have a character in the job they wanted created for them. Every custom character will also start with level 1 fame - so they'll cost more, and will require housing. Custom characters have to spawn in the list like everyone else though. They don't just appear to hire right away. - So I can get you in that way, and if you show up in the list, I can hire you (not guaranteed that I will though, depending on needs and my finances

They have announced renaming characters will be coming soon. So you shouldn't have to create the characters.

Idk, i like the Movies style better. Especially buildings and facilities. Also, decision to move stars to apartments instead of making trailer lots is strange to me. I think it's much more pleasing to see them walk around the studio to the trailer and not teleport out as day ends.

I will be honest this feels likes the Sims of Movie Studio games. It seems complex and limited at the same time. I personally prefer the Hollywood Animal game, can't wait when you play the actual game I wanted more after that demo.

If you're not spending time on the films themselves, there's sadly very little point in playing, as the current iteration of the game isn't difficult. Hoping this will change with time but for right now, if you're going to make several vids on this game, you might want to make the movies themselves the focus, as that's where the majority of the development seems to have been focused thus far.

I flat-out said that. - and audio totally was a thing on-set. People can hear, with their ears man. You’re trying to direct a scene, and you keep hearing the other actor trying to direct their scene? You’re an actor getting in the character, and there’s arguing and debate going on right next to you? Maybe consider hearing what else has been said too?

I like this game, and it may be a mix of nostalgia but is it possible that I still see The Movies as the best movie production game ever? This looks a good mix of The Movies and the 2 point series but it doesn’t give me the same feelings as those two products

I’m not saying they never sit. Rather, I have not worked with one that was sitting while filming was taking place. Plenty of sitting when reviewing footage though. ;)

I'd be eating while wearing a costume, no cap, and it'd add to the realism anyway. Realism is good. They neglect it too much. And I mean hey, costumes are cool and some unironically make good clothing. I'd wear a costume almost every day if it was one that I liked and wasn't TOO over the top.
