Hey girlies just listened to your recent podcast and wanted to give some advice: You're not a superficial person. They are usually people who tend to be unaware of their own lack of depth because they’re too focused on themselves. From what you guys talked about, it seems like you’re in a place where self-discovery could really help. Have you ever taken the time to think about your life’s purpose, who you truly are, and what genuinely brings you joy? Don’t feel pressured to adopt hobbies just because others enjoy them. Find what resonates with you personally-whether it’s traveling, cooking, painting, crocheting, Pilates, or something entirely different. Even starting a KZbin channel to document your life can be a fulfilling hobby. Give yourself the space to explore and learn more about what makes you happy. Take your time with it x

I'd love to hear an episode where you both talk about religion or your personal beliefs. It would be interesting since you often describe yourselves as superficial. Maybe that’s because you haven’t explored the deeper meaning of life or the idea that this life is temporary. It could be a really eye-opening discussion.

Came across a TikTok clip of Mandi choosing lip fillers ever going on vacations ever again, had to come on KZbin to watch the full video. This was about 2months ago and I’ve been binge watching since! I even got my boyfriend to watch an episode with me and we were cracking up throughout the episode 😂. I look forward to new episodes every week. Love you guys! Love from the USA❤

Mandi you are 💯 right! My biggest fear even at 46 was losing my parents and had a fear of dying, but I lost my beautiful dad only 3 months ago and it has broken me in ways I can’t even explain, my wnetite being misses him so much but I am no longer afraid of death for the exact reasons you mentioned.

It’s amazing how most of what they complain about can be solved by religion yet they actively stay away from it. For example: The drinking anxiety and behaviour The lack of marriage proposals The uncomfortable feeling of getting stared down by men when wearing revealing clothing The existential questions The fear of aging and excessive attachment to looks and youth Religion addresses all of these things, including the majority religion in their own country Iran. Bottom line: get religious girlies. There is more to our existence than just the current life. ❤ from a sister x

I think it’s PURPOSE… You have personality, good hearts, good jobs… Maybe find a purpose like something that fulfils you. That defo can come from children… but without them, I’d say find a purpose, speak to God, make time for self growth and development… But that’s everyone’s life journey. Books help, travel and experiences help… Love you both. Take time, stay true to yourselves and don’t try to be/do something else if it’s not feeling natural to you and your soul. 💜✨

Religon, and believing in an afterlife -Heaven, helps with making peace with ageing, and other difficult realities. Islam, tells you that this life is temporary and we're just passing through, and our eternal life is after we die. In heaven, we're all 31 years old, and we don't age, gain weight, and we have no physical flaws. We live happy forever. This is what gets you through this life.

Love this episode and you girls! I think you do have an outer layer of superficiality however beneath that there is so much more to you both. You’re so open minded and funny and embrace the duality of life I feel like you just need to discover that more! You are not just your looks and if you were you wouldn’t have such a loyal and big group of listeners :) I think maybe all you need is a bit of self- reflection to realise you already are all these things you think you need to become😊

Hey ladies xx comment re: what gingerbeard said at the gym abt women liking the attention - personally, i feel thats the kind of thing men say to convince themselves that what they’re doing is ok, kind of like the “she was asking for it” argument but on a much smaller scale. I’m sure there are women who enjoy being looked at, but my experience of being a woman myself and of being around other women is that most of them just want to look hot because they like it. I would say the looks and stares are not wanted by many. And obviously not get me started on those creeps following you around, im sorry you had to go through that :/ x

You can still have your children. You will both be amazing mothers. You just need to make sure your partners are worthy of being blessed with your children. Anna, you could get married In Vegas or somewhere quickly. The marriage doesn't matter. It would be nice to spend the day with your family, but you could get married & still have a party with them to celebrate! & then you'd be able to get pregnant when you're married. Wishing you both luck & sending love. You're so lovely & amazing. Please remember it ❤️

You girls are absolutely intelligent. You have an education, you have degrees. You know you’re smart. I think you’re too wrapped in the ‘culture’ of women’s expectations. Stop trying to please others, try to please yourselves. I recommend you join a group of young women in your area that do things with other women. You will realise how ‘in depth’ you can get. These conversations are deep, don’t doubt your intelligence. But try not to revolve around men so much. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I think you will stop being soo scared of aging once you are content in life, have your marriage and kids if that's what you want.. acknowledge your actual purpose in this life (for me its not this life, its working towards the after life, belief in God and acknowledging this life is temporary for a reason) I think only when you understand and accept these facts is when you will then be content will aging. We are told in islam that the soul will never be content on this earth, the only thing we will be content with is death. That's when we will actually start the process of what this life on earth was all for.

Amazing episode! Love hearing all the thoughts and self reflection. I think I agree with Anna - reading books or listening to podcasts to hear other people’s ways of thinking or expanding your own insights and knowledge on certain topics can help you grow as individuals and see yourselves and your environment in a different light but also using actively using those ideas & being conscious of them to combat negative thoughts or emotions you have on yourself will for sure help you. Definitely think you should read the books your cousin gave you because she knows you & has probably read those books so there’s an obvious reason why she gave you those books. Knowledge is power ❤ also you guys can review the books - would love to hear your opinions on it!

My Amh come back 11.3 pmols/ L , which they classed as borderline low but on scan all was fine , it’s sounds really common being borderline low. Not sayings it’s great but shows it happens to more of us then we think ! X

Hi Mandi and Anna, love the pod. Writing this after listening to the topic about aging. I’m a young girl, I just had my last summer as a teen and I’m really worried about life. My whole life I’ve always thought the ages of 20-40 are young however everyone these ages keep talking about how they’re so old. And yes I’m talking about twenties. People I’ve met in uni who are like 24 would be talking about how they’re so old and honestly it just scares me. To me it’s so young but why is everyone so worried about aging I don’t understand. Is there something I’m oblivious to and I should be worrying about too ? At my age I’m so worried about the future and getting old unhappily it’s so tiring and overwhelming. I’m currently writing this at 23:29pm. Tomorrow I will wake up and get ready for my first part time official job. If you were to ask me how I’m feeling, I’d say terrified, confused and unsure. The world is too scary and the people in it don’t make it any better. Is this what life is really about ? Is this really it ?

It made me so sad when Mandi talked about her experiences being harassed and catcalled. It's so not okay! You wanting to look sexy at certain times (like going out) does not mean men should sexualise you ALL the time, when you're doing everyday things like walking around or gym. I felt a bit put off from the video where you guys talked about Andrew Tate, and how you weren't completely against him (disagreed with some things, agreed with others), because he encourages this harassment and catcalling from his incel followers. He himself sex traffics women and has proudly admitted to that. So the feeling you feel when gross men treat you like that is how women feel about andrew tate because he encourages it and speaks so disgustingly about women, we can't see how you'd agree with anything he says, knowing he's such a bad person. I just wanted to illustrate the point that he goes against a lot of what you two believe in- we see that you're feminists and care about women having respect and power, so that's why it was a confusing stance in that previous video. Anyway, you guys are great and don't deserve nasty ass men, like no woman does, even if they do like attention at certain times (we all do).
