Hey Cleetus. I know you get a lot of advice, but I can speak with authority. Skip the toter home or anything called an "RV". I have been touring with musicians all over the world for over 20 years. I have ridden in/driven/slept in every conceivable vehicle you can imagine. Forget the Toter Home. Yes they can tow a shit-ton of weight, but you will almost never need that much weight, and if you do, you should be hiring a professional driver to haul whatever it is for safety sake. Also, they ride TERRIBLY. Remember, they are basically an underweight semi cab, so they bounce around like a model T. It is no fun riding around in a toter home and nearly impossible to sleep in a moving one. Your standard commercial RV's are cheap POS's. One drunk guy stumbles into a wall and the entire interior will collapse. They also can't safely tow any significant weight. But you already know all of this. Your best bet, is to buy a used Prevost. I know they are expensive, but it will save you in the long run. You can easily get one with a 20,000 lb hitch. They have air brakes. The older ones run detroit diesels, which you can get serviced anywhere. The new ones have Volvo motors I believe, again, easy to get fixed. They ride 1000 times better than a toter home. You can actually sleep in one that is moving. They have great A/C. You can use it as a guest house, or as an apartment at the shop for late nights. They can sleep up to 14 people (12 bunks and a 2 person bed in the back lounge). They get the same or better mileage as the RV you had. They are indestructible, and will go for a million miles. And finally. Due to COVID, the touring industry is dead, so the Tour Bus companies are looking to offload older busses, which means you can probably find one relatively cheap. Just do it. Once you have used a Prevost, all other RV's look and feel like toys. P

There can be absolutely no down time with a POS bus broken down in bumfuck Mississippi. Nashville is the epicenter for tour bus industry, there are several dealers and manufacturers up here, lots of buses for sale in Nashville.

I did that "worlds fastest burnout" stunt with my first car on a road that was solid ice once. It pegged the 120mph speedo instantly, the tire exploded and ripped a hole in the trunk floor and the tread wrapped itself around the axle wedged in between the drum brake backing plate and the leaf spring. It took a while to get it out and get another tire on. I still have the tread hung up on the wall in my garage, and it happened over 20 years ago.

I got stuck on a long icy hill in a 200sx (1.8L turbo 240sx) about 17 years ago. I decided the best plan was power and had it at 120mph for a while to melt the ice, once I had 2 little strips I could get some momentum back and make it up. Reading this I'm glad my tyres didnt explode!

Cleetus definitely get a toter home over a bus like conversion they are designed to tow sense they use a semi truck chassis. Example I have a 2015 Freight liner with the 600 hp Cummins but instead for an auto trans I special ordered an 18 speed transmission. I tow my 4 car stacker usually with 3 cars in it so I always have one bay to work in. Later added an 10k diesel powered generator to power my 4 ac units 2 in my stacker and the 2 on my toter home plus a 100 gallon air compressor. Other wise it’s just a base interior nothing real fancy like leather that would be torn or cut with us men in it. In my case I haul my other friends car plus mine which they in return pay for my fuel. And 9 - 11 mpg isn’t to bad depending on the terrain. The hard part is living with a combined length of 85 feet lol so I ended up adding larger fuel tanks at 120 gallons each. I now drive from Michigan to Florida without stopping sense only truck stops are accessible cuss of the length unless I unhook. Thanks

Hey Man love your channel and never miss a new video, you and the guys are very entertaining! Thought I'd give you a suggestion for the next RV you may want to consider. Look up a (Jayco Seneca) these rigs are not cheap, though as most things you end up getting what you paid for. I personally feel that from what you described as to why you need to upgrade, that this is likely to fit the bill perfectly. I worked in RV service a few years back and have got to say this thing is one of the best RV's in its class all things considered. Hope this helps at all good luck and "I'll freakin see you later" (in your next upload) hahaha!

Omg a jet-jon!!!! I have been wanting one for the last 15 years!!! 16’ (ish) flat bottom v haul with the backend cut out and a jetski bolted in. Use a war eagle haul with rear pontoons to help the load of jetski. But I want to build it for river fishing. A semi-camper would be so awesome big Peterbilt with a cat motor and keep it simple with a automatic trans (unless everybody can float a 10+ speed. Turbo swap and make it like a 750hp with 3500lbft tq lol
