You know, maybe that’s another reason why Supercell added card levels. Based on data, people love upgrading cards, but that’s also because with the new king tower system, players are forced to upgrade unnecessary cards to be on a certain level to advance.

Lol, no the data (money) that comes from levels is significant also Supercell can not decide what they want. Once they wanted ppl to use a variety of decks now they want ppl to main 1. As long as levels make money (which they always will) expect level 16 next year then level 17 and onwards.

I wasn't completely f2p when I started in 2017 (I've spent maybe $100? over that amount of time, if even that), but I was able to get to the point where I was at king tower 14 at launch. I've been playing a f2p account over the past couple years and it honestly feels like progression is 10x slower than my first account

Tip for all F2P's: if you buy legendary wildcards over the limit and you're low enough arena, it'll turn the card into 25k gold

Skeletons are level dependant vs other skeletans, a level higher is a extra hit to take down. How lvl 15 skeletons almost fully counters lvl14 graveyard

OJ, XP-gold wise it's more efficient to upgrade low level cards. They give u more XP per gold compared to higher levels. :)

I've been f2p from the beginning till now. I got to max out pretty much all my cards when lvl 13 was the max lvl. But with the introduction of lvl 14 and 15, I genuinely feel sad cause it's forcing me to p2w. But here I am, still and will be f2p in this game. You know, back when 13 was the max lvl, I really felt proud as I almost maxed out. But now I simply just get hit in the face by over leveled players 😔

The reason they made competetive mode not put your cards at 11 BUT allow your cards to be UP TO level 11 is so that you spend more money to not be at a disadvantage at a supossed "fair mode" I mean tbh if they made that then no one would play normal mode ngl
