Bazz B is no joke. His fire is strong and hot enough to offset Yama's shikai when he, As Nodt, and NaNaNa tried to jump Yama. Yes Bazz still have some burns but still he didn't die and he protect both As Nodt and NaNaNa

Omeyda was actually cool in the manga. That poor girl was actually impaled from the building she was hiding in and raised up. Cool little character development for Omeyda stepping up but Cour 2 has to cut a lot to get all the fights together

Omayeda is brave. He is scared yet he fights. Both of his fights happen with opponents, who are leagues and miles above him: first literal king of Hueco Mundo, and the second is a Sternritter, an elite among Quincies. He knows he has no chance, yet still fights, which is admirable, considering he comes from rich background. He is still a blabbering coward, but one you can count on at the hardest times. A stark contrast to Soi Fon, who is fearless, strong and gives no shit about anyone else. If she deems you unworthy, she will just backstab you. Still, she gets some development in TYBW.

Just a quick explanation. The path that Ichibei had Ichigo walk on in the post credit scene is called Irazu Sandō, which translates as “The unwalkable path”. Basically what he is saying is, those that are not worthy to walk on this path will perish and there will be no path for them (he is saying a whole bunch of other stuff between the lines, but going into that would be spoilers). You could say this is the road to transcending your shinigami limits, like Ichibei was talking about he wanted Ichigo to do last episode. And if ichigo isn't strong enough he will die and become a part of the path himself.

Honestly the only thing about this arc i didn't like in the manga was how kubo did the visoreds (if he is going to humiliate them at least let them die it will be more impactful - rose and kensei and should have let shinji get the dub against bambi with the mask) and the final fight needs to be extended

And then he gets put up against the one dude who arguably can just beat him in any way possible. Also anime changed Omaeda/BG9 scene quite heavily, in manga BG9 pierced Mareyo through her stomach and in response Omaeda furiously attacked him (which obviously didn't do much to the robot but still was quite boldly). Because of moments like this i recommend to anyone who didn't see TYBW to check out manga in parallel to the anime so you won't miss any context)

The reason why quincies didnt die due to heat of yama's bankai(imagine sunbathing in 11 million degrees) is bazz-b counteracts the heat. And yeah, we bleach fans knew when toshiro on the frame, it is already and auto L. Unfortunately anime made Bazz-B less hype in this fight by removing his famous reveal about how he and two other sternritters survived Yamamoto attack. Shortly that was Bazz-B achievement because his flame was strong enough to deflect most of Yamamoto flames (obviously not all of them since quincy were left injured but still a pretty impressive feat for regular sternritter)

I wonder if those ending poems are like Jisei (Japanese Death Poems). They are poems in Zen Buddhism that often Samurai (and also monks) would write in their final days of life. And with the theme of the end and this being the end of the series with everybody dying off, it's really fitting since the Soul Society is basically feudal Japan. Tite Kubo really was in his bag with this writing!

Like I once said, Toshiro is the youngest Captain, and he's easily the least experienced. He only just recently started to try and learn to fight without relying on his Bankai. He IS extremely powerful. As everyone already pointed out Bazz B is one of the stronger Sternritters. His flames can counter Yamamoto's flames in Shikai form, however the anime cut that bit of information

The problem with Toshiro is that he's too passive. He's scared to hurt allies so he holds back ALOT. He wants to subdue enemies instead of killing so none of his attacks have any real power behind them. What would be more effective? Throwing ice cubes at someone or shoving ice cubes into them? Toshiro is basically doing that, throwing ice at them instead of shoving it into them.

This cour starts the trend of changing or cutting events that we see in the manga, and it's very notable when you compare them side by side. It happened on cour 1 too, but to a much less extent. A perfect example for both of them is, in cour 1, when Mayuri is explaining to Ichigo that a damaged bankai can't return to normal like it would as a shikai. He mentions exceptions to the rule like Toshiro's, which uses the moisture and the water around to create ice, or Komamura's, where the giant and him take damage together, but also recover together. He also says that due to this, Ikkaku's bankai is still damaged from the first time we see and so is Renji's from his fight with Byakuya in the soul society arc, with the broken parts of the snake never coming back. For this cour, some might find weird that Bazz B, As Nodt and Nanana are still alive, when we saw Yama burning them right before his fight with Yhwach. Bazz B explains that he managed to counter Yama's flames right before it killed them, so we get to understand how strong his flames are. This types of cuts or changes happen mostly with comedical moments, but they might also cut some information that would be nice to know

I see the subtitles you're using didn't translate Irazu Sando (honestly idfk why they didn't just translate it in some versions), it means something along the lines of 'the unreachable path' or 'the path of no entry'. Here's the Kanji based on what a wiki page (lulz) tells me 不入参道 do what you will with that info :v edit: I just feel like for the people who don't know Japanese, or don't try to figure out what meanings these terms hold, they'd lose out on some of the weight in that scene. Which is why I don't get why they didn't just translate that line instead of transliterating it.

The anime significantly weakened Bazz B. In the manga, Bazz B's flames are so powerful and fast, it's like superman laser, that he can pierce Hitsugaya in one millisecond. In the anime, it takes him 5 seconds. Perhaps they did it to avoid making Hitsugaya look too weak in the anime
