Marissa, something to consider to possibly keep the ants out of the Ming's foods. If you get a shallow pan that is slightly larger than the Ming's bowl. Put water in the shallow pan and set the Ming's bowl inside of it...basically you are creating a moat of water around the food that hopefully the ants are no able to cross.
