Memoria's MV is actually about the real life struggles that each Gfriend members encountered after they debut. Sowon's father passed away (dove) Yerin's knee injury Eunha's eye infection Yuju's hand injury SinB's shoulder dislocation Umji being cyber bullied All the above are represented in the MV.

Memoria represents each member’s pain Sowon: her father passed away (the white dove means she is now in peace with herself and everything around) Yerin: knee injury (I forgot when she got the injury) Eunha: infected eye when TFTMN era (as u can see, one of her eye looks different here) Yuju: broken finger (she broke her finger bcs she fell off her bed) SinB: weak shoulder (dislocated shoulder on the stage 😭 that represents the wings) Umji: was called ugly 😡 she’s struggling, until now haters call her goddess (umji had connection with the moon in this vid, moon means personal growth and innovation, umji fighting!!) Memoria have a lot of symbolisms, many buddy left it into the struggle the members when into life but the reality is that is deeper than that like eunha with both eyes of different colors, also Yerins glitter and Yuju galaxy tattoo o umji red moon. Memoria falls into the "parallel dimension" where these "versions" of gfriend doesn't know each other at all, but they can meet in dreams tho they have this connection they doesn't know exist. Memoria is divided in 2 world: the real world and the dream world as you can see, in the dream world they meet and take care of each other and is till the end they meet in real world :)

I don't know whether the universe is still the same as the Korean one. maybe this MV tells about those who fell asleep and dreamed something amazing, and when they wake up they lose everything in the dream. they miss the dream and try to find it in the real world. It turns out that their dream was caused by the other members making it when they fell asleep. so their beauty and happiness is due to their friendship. The MV is very sweet.

lovely seeing the member healed another member's struggles on this MV. No member overshadow or overpower any member even their dance are equally executed with equal energy and grace. The very reason why i stan this group. they really promote friendship, equality, art that they cant be called gfriend if one is left behind. the very main purpose of their fandom name "BUDDY". to welcome and make anyBUDDY a someBUDDY. Ah, so you are reacting to Gfriend's Japanese discography after all. I wasn't sure since some get dissuaded from doing so because of the scrutiny Japanese MVs supposedly would get. BTW, this is Gfriend's first original Japanese song, not translated from their Korean songs. It's also one of the two MVs from Gfriend that I enjoy their MV more than their dance practice videos (the second one is Apple). You discovered the ideal model of treating Gfrined's lore - it is subject to your own interpretation! And theories abound about what this video means. While many have a thorough explanation for each member's role, I very much focused on their relationship in this MV. First of all, you may know it by now that this Memoria MV consists of two worlds - one while each member in the sleep state as all of them fall asleep in the beginning of the MV. And the other one supposedly in the awaken state. Excluding the dance sequences, you can tell the difference by the wardrove they have on. As they sleep, each member shows a special need/want in their dream state: Yerin - Magical glitter SinB - Wings Yuju - Constellation Sowon - Paper crane Eunha - Different colored eyes Umji - Moon Also the MV goes on to show how each member helps and supports each other: Yuju blows on/off the glitter on Yerin's knees. Eunha spreads feathers for SinB's wings. Umji draws the constellation on Yuju's arm SinB holds a paper crane for Sowon Yerin places a flower on one of Eunha's eyes Sowon embraces Umji while she holds on to the moon-shaped pillow Upon waking up, each member remembers (therefore the title Memoria) and runs to the rooftop to reunite with each other. Of course the MV ends with each member rejoicing in their company with the sweetest smile on their face. To me, this MV speaks precisely to the bond of their sisterhood that is so prominent in their MVs and real life. It's utterly the token that represents what Gfriend means to each other and their fans. It just warms my heart watching their smiling at each other. Please excuse the long post, I do this every time since this is my favorite MV from Gfriend and can't help myself. BTW, La Pam Pam is a true bop. I was also so intrigued by its title when first saw it. It is my favorite song among Gfriend's Japanese discography, but don't discount their other Japanese releases. They are fantastic. So you have Flower and Fallin' Light still on your docket to review. Enjoy.

Creo que te sorprenderá La Pam Pam, porque la descripción que has hecho le pega más a Flower jajaja (otra japonesa de GFriend que sí tiene MV). Sin embargo, La Pam Pam no tiene videoclip, y por desgracia la compañía japonesa que tiene GFriend es una m*erda y no les hace casi promoción y solamente están disponibles (legalmente) las canciones en Spotify Japón. En KZbin sí que están porque gente que piensa en los fans no japoneses las ha subido, al menos, aunque no sean oficiales. Vídeos japoneses oficiales solamente tienen Memoria, Flower y Fallin' Light. The mv just literally showed each members pain. Sowon and the paper dove represents her father who dies Yerin and her knee injury Eunha and her eye infection, you see her eye color looks different from each other. Yuju broke her finger/ joint bc she fell Sinb who dislocated her shoulder you can see it on one of their navillera performance where even she felt the pain she continued to perform and smile in front of buddies. And that represents the wings on the mv. Umji who was called ugly after their debut. And that was represented by the moon she saw its plain, so draw and she painted it to look beautiful.
