It's about his brother, Anthony, who died in a motorcycle accident. The call he mentions is also referenced in "Chemical Prisoner" by Falling In Reverse (which also features his father along with his motorcycle club). The "song I wrote about your family years ago" is "The Day I Left The Womb" from back when he was in Escape The Fate, which I highly, HIGHLY recommend listening to.

In his book “I Can Explain” he tells about how his brother was driving his daughters small car and it hit a horse and it was fatal. If you listen close you can hear him cry. The book is an amazing read I highly recommended reading it. It gives explanations for so many parts of his life and some of what the songs mean. Everything from before Escape the Fate to now.

Great reaction! Theres a longer version with photos and some quotes from the time Anthony did and there's also a solo rap song called "Brother" by Ronnie, that you might want to check out just for yourself. I watched this when you dropped the video and I watch this even still cause I genuinely love this song. I have my brother and he is the reason why I listen to falling in reverse, and we listened to this song together and we both cried quietly, I guess it was a bonding moment for us. But regardless, this song hurts in a way that is not only emotional but it's a beautiful way to say you love someone.

Only song Ronnie won't do live. Very powerful and heartfelt song
@faithk132 жыл бұрын
Anthony died in a motorcycle accident and when Ronnie says "maybe if I answered you, you would still be here" it's because Anthony called him right before he left to go where ever he was headed. Ronnie regrets not answering the phone because he thinks that if he did, his brother would still be alive due to the fact that it would have taken Anthony longer to get to where the accident happened - potentially avoiding it together. It's a hard song to listen to. This situation is referenced in the song Chemical Prisoner as well.

This is such a raw song. (I typed that before you did that😂). It breaks me every time. Look up the pictures of him and his brother, they are so sweet❤️. But yeah. His brother died in an accident. If I remember correctly, Ronnie was on tour, missed a call from him and kind of blew it off, then found out he died.
