I love how you and your husband are working together on making all your flower beds look so nice with weeding, mulching, etc And so sweet that your daughter has such an interest in not only helping but being responsible for a specific area. Good for her....and for you! 😊 I love hearing the background chatter of the children in the kitchen as you are fixing the family meals. It is always a beautiful sound! Savor it because all too soon they will be grown and moving on and the house will be so quiet. I love your channel as well as both your sisters'. I love the down-to-earth content each of you provide...nothing showy, just simple and wholesome living. Thank you for just being yourselves. God bless!

Hi Laura, I just happen to bump into your channel and my oh my! I love how fast cook your yummy recipes. I guess with a family of 6 children you have lots of cooking recipes and shortcuts. I love the blackberry, chia and agave syrup and will try it myself. I caught a glimpse of your bath soap making too can’t wait to try it also. You’re an amazing homemaker and cook. I love your simple home decor too. Will continue watching your channel for more of your inspirational cooking, baking and pantry ideas. Sending blessings your way! ❤

Beautiful flower beds. Weather here is FINALLY getting warmer. Started cleaning out my flower beds this past Tuesday. I was actually feeling nauseous all day (caught whatever my husband brought home from work😮) and being outside actually helped. Fresh air, getting my hands dirty and pulling weeds actually helped diminish the nausea. ❤ Something about spring always fills me with energy, inspiration, motivation and all the good feels.

I liked everything about this video! It’s wonderful that you allow your daughter to have her garden space , I’m a gardener not a cook so it fascinates me how fast you can come up with a meal without a cookbook! Blessings to you and yours , from a Grandma.

Firstly let me say how much I enjoy your videos, I find your voice so soothing. I’m new to your channel and I’m in the process of watching your videos from the beginning. What I’m very curious to see is what your table looks like with all the food for your family at a lunch or dinner. I realise that you give a snapshot of what you’ve made, which is amazing, but I’m just curious about how much you need to actually serve up to feed everyone. You’ve mentioned in the past that you have big eaters. I follow your sisters too. Does your sister with the farm, that sells meat have a KZbin channel? ❤❤

We live in an older community with TONS of trees. Previously we lived in a new development with zero trees. I prefer our current property but you're right! Spring clean up is a BIG job. That is the ONE thing we hire out ... fall and spring leaf clean up. Our landscapers bring in a team. We have a large property but they get it done in 30 minutes. It took us days when we did it. They get all the leaves, sticks, debris out from the garden beds, corners of the entire property. They start at the back of the property in a line ... like a search team (!) ... and walk back to front getting EVERY piece of debris ... like a force of nature. Lol. Afterward, there is still plenty to do, of course, but at least we have a clean canvas on which to start our veggie garden, garden beds, etc. As I said . . It's the ONLY thing we hire out (I've never had a cleaning lady, we cook all our own food from scratch, I sew my own dresses, curtains and aprons, we mow our own land, etc. The hired spring and fall cleanup is totally worth it.

Hi Laura 😊 If you like all natural ingredients and want to stay away from chemicals, please don't use aluminum foil for grill or baking or anything like that! The high temperature causes the aluminium and other chemicals to infuse with your food! It's worse than putting aluminium deodorant under your armpits 😬
@alexbunker87876 ай бұрын
I have been thinking about this -- but what do you use instead?
@ceegee10706 ай бұрын
@@alexbunker8787 I would line the foil with parchment paper so there is a barrier between the foil and the food.
@a.e.s.1086 ай бұрын
@@alexbunker8787 I personally don't use anything else to grill or bake. You can do that without the aluminum foil 😃 parchment paper would not help the fumes 😄
