Same here, in Japan we have to do everything for ourselves such as clean after ourselves, get our own school lunch, ect. And the rats are the other students!

I want to point out for scaramouche that the lore explain why he doesnt have joints. They faded. He became more human. The electro ring symbolize his Inazuman heritage and Kabuki The prayer holder in his new design represent renewal, religiousness and renaissance (his new design is inspired by wandering monks)

We talked about the joint backstory in the recording but I cut it out due to the video being.... LONG :') I know there's lore for why they arent there but it just feels like they did that because at the time they couldn't figure out how to have a character model that has these. And there's also the possibility that not all of his backstory was completed by the time we saw his model (which was in the second update ever i believe).

The whole point was that he was throwing away his old identity, it wouldn’t make sense for him to keep the same color scheme or element, obviously his harbinger design was awesome and I wish it was playable, but his design makes sense

Am I the only one here who prefers scara’s current design? He broke free of everything that used to be thanks to irminsul, he’s not completely redeemed but he’s able to do the one thing raiden wanted him to do. Also I don’t like the veil lmao, his old design was a very effective evil villain, but his new design represents him being the new winds of freedom, aiding a new god with his own will and consent, symbolising fresh winds of freedom and “insert inverse of genesis”. Ofc, all the lore surrounding him and genshin lore in general is good only if you bother reading, it’s a shame that the story is not that good if you don’t sit down and think.

@@saornpill exactly mate. I get ppl like scara for being a villanious brat, but that behaviour came from a past of trauma and hurt. It's great that Scara's crimes are not forgiven, and Wanderer is willing to work to help Nahida and the Akademia as a form of atonement

@@hanchengjun275 Reminds me seeing people on forum hating Collei's current personality and design, when they preferred that angsty traumatised kid from the manga and would like to see her stay this way. I guess some people just don't like seeing characters change. And I agree, Wanderer's design is really good. It's a great inversion of his previous one and I like how he is not purple or electro, because he can now be his own person (instead of being defined by his desire for electro gnosis)

Dottore's design changes kinda show me how different the western and eastern side of the fandom receives him amd even got me pondering over the difference of west and east chara. Western chara designs have bolder approach in all sectors, be it in age, body shape, skin color and the design concept. Meamwhile, east design tends to focus on good looks, perfect body type, lighter skin color (do not attack the east side just because they are more biased towards lighter skin tone). And dottore's design is basically this. My western friends loves Webttore more, but my eastern friends loves the in-game version. I think the drastic change is bc 1. Hoyo MIGHT REALLY want him to be playable despite his seemingly irredeemable moralities 2. Hoyo's biggest cashcow in the end will still be the eastern side of the fandom. The US doesnt even make it to top 10 spenders from what I read recently. But we all both east and west can agree on 1 thing WHERE HE SHARK TEETH GONE HOYO????

No hate to your re design but the whole point of scaramouche is that he’s not meant to look like a puppet. Hence the no puppet joints since he was a prototype for the Raiden shogun, which is Eis doppelgänger so she’s not meant to look like a puppet which is why he doesn’t. That was probably an over explanation, but it’s just my biggest pet peeve with any scara re design I see. Since it disregards the lore for a cooler look.

I have another idea for why she could be wearing a fake vision In communist times, leaders were given this heroic, parental, teacher-esc role. This could be a sign of her leader glory while also making it so when worn the common folk can more easily connect with her. She's a goddess, she's their mother, their leader, but she's still one of them because why would a God, their God, wear common folk visions?
