We Released A Little Black Devil In Our House And Now We Can't Catch Him
Long story short: we found this little black devil on the street, running in between the cars, almost got ran over. We caught him in time and took him with us.
The kitten is timid and is not used to be around people so it was a hard time catching him, after we released him in our house.

We are Stoyan and Dessy from Bulgaria. We are not organization, neither a shelter, we are just an ordinary couple with a big dream. Everything we provide for the stray animals is coming from our own pockets or with the help of donations from our subscribers. We have 7 cats at home, all rescued from the streets. I have one who was like this. I just left her alone, and after a couple of days of completely avoiding me, she finally decided I was cool. It's probably not good to chase the kitten around. You might find it funny, but it's scary for the kitten. Not to be too critical - it's great that you saved a kitten, but you seem like you want to be nice, and I've found that just leaving a traumatized kitten be is the best way to get her to calm down.

You need to put a towel or pillowcase that has your smell under the plate of food. The little tyke will associate your smell with food. This also helps feral cats to associate you with a life necessity.

Barn cats will act that way as well, they can warm up to humans, but we call them "scats" until they do.

Gorgeous boy. I've got two black cats, brothers, they're now almost a year old. they looked just like him when they were young. Hopefully he won't be too nervous, what a wonderful purr.

I'm glad to see him sitting with you at the end, they always eventually come around to good people. I've been fostering feral cats since 2009 and have found if you only feed them while they're in your lap they'll warm up to you within 3 days. It's stressful at first (use a nice thick towel in your lap at first) but they'll eventually learn that your hands are nothing but positive. I use silicone spoons and syringes alot to also protect myself. I also use pet tents because hiding under furniture is definitely their first instinct and that's a nightmare when you have a whole feral litter 😂
