I rescued a lab with heart worms. I did the expensive treatment also. I was also told she’d have heart problems. 13 years later, she’s lost a leg to osteosarcoma, but her heart is still kicking fine. Before the cancer and leg amputation, I ran and showed her in Master level AKC agility for years. She loved it and has never shown any adverse effects from the heart worms or the treatment

We had a rescue black Lab. He was in rough shape when we got him. Skin allergy’s bad and bald spots from him scratching. Previous owners gave us a briefcase full of vet bills and notes and prescriptions. They tried everything to help him and nothing worked after having him for a year the wife said I’m going to try grain free dog food. He was cleared up in two weeks and all his hair grew back.

I took in a stray. He had heartworms, tapeworms, & hookworms. Didnt find out till later, but he also had some shrapnel in his head right behind his ear. I've had him for about a 1.5 years now. He's amazing and worth every penny i had to spend to get him back to good health.

My boy was the same way an treated the same way when I adopted him. He’s on advantage multi for heart worms and it’s done great for him. Y’all are awesome for doing what you’re doing. Dogs deserve the greatest life they can have.

Robert, my first cat lived on Science Diet dry food and lived a long happy 9 year life. My second cat lived on Purina and Special Kitty (store brand) and he also lived a happy life for 22 years! The only vet costs were for shots and a couple times for a tooth extraction. 22 years old! 🏍🇺🇸🎒

Robert we have always fed our dogs Diamond dog food and have never had any issues. It's good stuff a 50lb bag runs about $48.

I've used Purina Beneful for all my dogs. Started with the "Originals" which has beef, and switched to "Healthy Weight" which has chicken. I buy 48 LB. bags for $40.98 at Sam's. The $$$ I save buying it at Sam's more than pays for the membership.

Trucker question... I see they have very small electric (corded) Power Washers these days that give out enough power for power washing a truck or car. Wouldn't it be better to have something like that with you instead of waiting in lines and spending a bunch of $$ and still not being happy with the job that is done? Plus you can do it yourself during downtime and enjoy the clean truck more often. Just wondering what you think?

Grain free dog food will kill your dog. There are certain dry foods on the list … my dog was on grain free and he died suddenly of heart failure … they say that the pea lentils and sweet potatoes they use in grain free are heart failure foods . My other dogs are now eating pedigree dry food until i find a better one … my dog was on NUTRO GRAIN FREE LAMB AND RICE . Online there is 10 documented cases of this food being connected with heart failure in dogs … my boy is gone and i believe its because of the food .. he was only 7 years old and health running around and jumping in an out of my CASCADIA …. Dead the next day … he’s now in a box next to my bed .
