As a Jamaican/American None of my family members ever owned land before, but the first time I arrived in Ghana 2017 for the first time in the motherland, I was so happy also cried like a baby at the airport. I couldn't believe I'm in Africa. I did not sleep the whole night hanging in the window at muvinpik hotel making video calls talking to family friends, they were blow away. I stayed in Ghana 3 weeks, and I don't want to go back to the States, I went back to the states and r quickly came back to Ghana 2months later. I purchased 2 acres of land building apartments for rent in winneba. I also recently purchased another land in Aburi building mansion to spend the rest of my life. I met a beautiful lady in Ghana, her mother is a Ghanaian, dad from Dominican Republic in Cape Coast, also living here in the states. We got married after dating for 2years. We have one girl. Our dream to move to Ghana 2025 after finishing the properties in Ghana. Thank you so much for sharing

Please make sure you get LAND TITILES for your lands. That's the registration of your land with the government. The site plan is not enough. There's been some instances where 3 separate people had 3 separate site plans for the same land. It is not uncommon for some families to sell the same land multiple times. Great interview!!!

What a beautiful, decent, all-embracing couple. Pray you settle pretty well. Most important issue is a means of income, a home with no landlord threatening you with eviction because they want to increase the rent & of course, a decent motor to run around. Our folks are quite helpful & respectful. Hey! You're going to have so many children though!!😂 I'm Mama & my hubby is Dad to everyone!! Just be mindful of opportunists. Good luck 🤞🏾🙏🏾😇

Glad this gracios lady addressed you as Ms. Was disappointed to hear you introduce them casually by their first without the respect that we give elders ...mama or papa or at least uncle and aunt. You know that! Even if you were born or raised overseas you couldn't have been on a first name basis if they're born in Africa. You are one of my favorite African youtubers and a very respectful young woman. That said, wow! The interview was great. The elders look so elegant with aunt looking all regal. I see uncles tshirt - are they hebrew Israelites? Welcome home.

Hi Jasmine. Thanks for the great content! Can you please explain what Timothy meant when he said you can buy land in Africa, keep it for so long, and then renew it? Thanks 🙂
@JasmineAmaa Жыл бұрын
When foreigners buy land in Ghana, they own it for 50years then there is a renewal fee u pay again to own it for 50yrs. The terms of payment etc can be negotiated while u are buying the land. Hope this helps xx
@enetamuno5953 Жыл бұрын
@@JasmineAmaasounds like a Lease in legal terms. The Lessee (recipient of the Lease) leases a parcel of land from the Lessor (owner of the land) for a period of 50 years, renewable for subsequent periods of 50 years? I wouldn't classify the transaction as a "sale" which under the Common Law of England transfers title to the purchaser via a "Conveyance"! A purchaser under a Conveyance has absolute title to the land he purchases, he can sell the land, and pass the title he holds to subsequent purchasers. Jasmine please confirm under the 50 years Lease arrangements can the Lessee (beneficiary of the Lease) "sell" the land to someone else during the pendency of the 50 years Lease? Greetings from a West African neighbor in 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬

Because of the location, his diet is different. The quality of protein, chicken and beef, will be better. Thus less inflammation in his body. The availability of other manufactured foods they may have eaten in the states is not there. Those foods would also give inflammation to his body. Any microwaveable food for a person with ailments would drive inflammation. The american food producta have lots of salt, sugar and fats for great flavor, but it promotes sickness and inflammation. Then add the preservatives and fillers....makes for poor health.
