Deadly Creatures is a genuinely super solid Wii game. I highly recommend it. Edit: Fun fact, you can indeed get in contact with the guy who made Mohawk and Headphone Jack. Apparently the dude's super chill, and the game got run a few years ago at the Awful Games block for AGDQ.

I watched that AGDQ run out of curiosity and because i had seen the Grumps play it first. Super interesting game, and it was awesome hearing the runner talk about contacting the designer (I think his name is Scott Williamson) and he being such a cool dude.

Yep, that run was by PJdicesare. He mentioned that the creator was really surprised about anyone liking his game after it was critically slammed during its release, but PJ is a genuine fan of Mohawk and Headphone Jack. It's a really interesting and also bizarre run.

I remember playing Bonk way back when I was maybe 4 or 5. My mom would drop me off at someone's house to play, and we'd play Bonk. I could never figure out what system it was for since I was so little, all I knew was nintendo, and whenever I tried to describe it, no one knew what the hell I was talking about. The creator of Mohawk and Headphone Jack seems super nice with people that want to know more about the game. A speedrunner said that he gave them access to everything and loved people that played the game so I hope they get in contact with him and do a react to the episodes w/ the creator or a guest grumps playing the whole game

1. The maps are huge and are all loaded in real time- when you press the map button all it does is zoom out and let you scroll the whole area. 2. Each 8x8 pixel map tile is also a gravity vector with one of 32 directions, meaning this game is Mode 7: the Game quite literally. 3. Headphone Jack is the 2nd player, a pink "Morf" (the species name), and the blue guy on the score screen is the villain General Headslot, who stole all the music and made their world less funky.

I've never left a comment before (and I understand that the Grumps themselves will likely never read it), but I've always wanted to say, it was and still is so wonderful to see people enjoying Deadly Creatures. My dad was on the development team, and I had the privilege of being one of the beta testers at the time. It was one of those experiences that was incredibly odd, but at the same time so much fun, and so much love went into it. It's a shame, because to my understanding, the company outside of the team didn't really believe in it, so there wasn't much in the way of promotion. I'm glad it found its way onto your channel, even if it was initially as a game that looked like it'd be bad, and that you guys were able to enjoy it and share that with the audience.
