Just "rode" this past saturday. By far the gnarliest, chunky trail ever. The view from up top though *drool* Better hike than ride hehe

Yeah, it's beautiful! 😊 We rode it again this year. Sadly the gopro bugged out, so there won't be a vid about it. We found that getting off the bike and scouting ahead works really well. Still couldn't clear the technical climbs though. Had to walk all those. But the descents?...definitely doable if you scout and pick a line before hitting it. So much fun. 😄👍

I really hope to eat UP the peninsula this year! Glad also for the Fuel EX for all the climbing and peddling I'll be doing this year!! That climb trail looks... interestingly worth it for McLovin

You need to go to Copper Harbor. It's amazing up there. 👍

Great trail name. Hehe. Climbing that stuff is very challenging. Worth it though.

Now THATS mountain biking haha! Sooo jealous guys. I wouldn’t dare attempt that stuff on my hard tail 😂 absolutely love Marquette
@dukeofmtb5 жыл бұрын
You'd have to be some sort of mtb god to clear all that on a hardtail. I'd love to see someone try though. You should go and make a video about it. Hehe 😉

The Duke of MTB haha I’ll just manual the entire trail. Actually on second thought I think I’ll just stick to the NTN trails 😂

I loved riding Harlow Lake but holy cow was it tough. I felt like I had ridden 30 miles when it was actually a paltry 9 miles. 😂

I feel you. We only rode 2 and that was enough to kick our butts. 😅

Isn't lower bareback meant to go the other way
@dukeofmtb4 жыл бұрын
They're all 2 way trails. You can climb up one and descend down the other, or go down the same way you came, or mix and match as you please. You can get a lot of variety just from that one area.

Copper harbour vs Marquette? Short travel(130) or long(170)?
@dukeofmtb5 жыл бұрын
Copper Harbor is my first pick. Take the 170 with you there since you'll be shuttling anyway. In Marquette the 170 will be overkill. Definitely go with the trail bike there. Marquette has more variety but you also have to climb. Copper Harbor has less trails but they're all world class and you can get a ton of runs in with the shuttle.
