What a difference between an Indian railway station and the one in Angola. Not a food vendor to be seen. I loved the views of the great plains, what a great world we inhabit.

Railway and bus stations and collective taxi stops in Angola are crowded with street vendors. They just happened to board the train way too early for street vendors to show up!

In India 🇮🇳 people go even on top of the train. Roof riders.

The railway stations got busier with vendors later in the day, but not as busy as it is typically in India 😅 some even came on board selling mostly meat and fish food and some packaged snacks!

@charles, no one sits on the roof of the train in India anymore... It was probably 20-30 years ago that people did that - however, it continues to happen in some neighbouring countries! 😅

Wow! Your train puts to shame South African Railways and National Railways Zimbabwe! Comfy reclining seats, plenty of legroom, aircon. Pure luxury! And this is despite all the civil war that has plagued this country that caused the infrastructure to be destroyed.
