We get to the Abaco islands and we start to realise that we are going to run out of provisions. The Bahamian government is making things more difficult for us cruisers to go ashore. But we manage a run to the supermarket in Marsh Harbour and buy all we need for the crossing.
We start to prepare the boat for the Atlantic crossing. That means a trip to the top of the mast, always a challenging one.

A little bit about us...
We met in the summer 2015, we were introduced to each other by the virtual world. Eighteen months later we were getting married on a beautiful beach on Barbados, bare foot, very simple ceremony just like a dream!
Two days after the wedding laying on the beach, talking about sailing, Carla suggested... why don't we sail around the world? Guess what Simon said? "Let's do it" He took it with no second thoughts! And here we are, two years after that day in Barbados, we started our adventure in Croatia.
We made it happen working through all the challenges on the way.
Now we are enjoying this wonderful life, and what a wonderful life it is!
As we travel we will cross less fortunate countries, we would love to help to build a school or a health care centre, anything that these people may need, and in our beautiful world this is taken for granted. But for these people it's a dream, or may not even be a dream.
We will look around and when the opportunity to help comes we will put our hands and hearts in to it.

I follow a few KZbin cruisers (currently liveaboard 1.5 years). I have to admit I'm have not stumbled upon you 2 yet. Glad that I have because you are the first couple in my 'age group' I have seen and I must say very inspiring! I have an experience boat coach that is helpful but he has failed to mention the very demanding mast inspection you folks have done. And, notwithstanding I really appreciate the twisted boom vand line namely I have the same issue! Much appreciated and Fair Winds.

Captain Ron thank you Captain Ron. Where are you? The mast inspection is a must and things happen anyway as you will see on the latest episodes. I have just been on the top top of the mast yesterday to fix the mail halyard, not fun at all but must needed from the last rough journey. Hope to see you out there one day. Cheers

Excellent video guys, l was a little afraid watching Carla going up that mast, but she did a a good job . She's a real trouper! Hope you two stay safe appreciate the video. We did a great loop around the west Caribbean and yes we are heading back to Europe. We don’t have intentions to go to the UK unless the present situation in the world make us to. Cheers
