Another great video! That beach you saw whilst entering Samaná Bay, with the cliffs in the background, is called "Playa Frontón". One of the few places you can actually do Rock Climbing and hit the beach within 5 minutes. 2 recent movies were filmed there, "Arthur the King" with Mark Wahlberg and "The Lost City" with Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum. DR has one of the most investor friendly film industries in the region. Many crews from the US are now filming on location in DR thanks to a recent legal reform to attract investors.

Good try on the fish. Finally, I've seen someone on a sailboat grab a spinning rod and throw a jig into a school of fish rather than trolling through the school and scattering them. Great job.

Hey Crews…why don’t cruisers stop in the Turks? Seems like all the channels pass them up for the DR. Enjoy your show and we will see you out there next year!
@adventurecrewsАй бұрын
They unfortunately have the reputation of not being cruiser friendly, expensive, and hard with pets. While I (Cole) have been and enjoy Turks (great ledge diving) it is very similar to that of the Bahamas except they do not allow any fishing or spearing so a lot of people just going unless they miss their weather window.

What place tugs you back? The Bahamas. When we left Annapolis in 1977 headed for PR and the Caribbean, the Bahamas were just the road we were going to take. No Thorny Path for us. We never made it to the Caribbean by boat. The Bahamas had so much to offer AND it was close and relatively easy. In 3 subsequent voyages we covered the northern islands very well. Time went by and we stayed in the Chesapeake. But the call was still there. This past winter I traveled alone (by air) back. Since Georgetown had been discovered, probably because we praised it so much, I chose another island we hadn't been to - Long Island. Spent a month experiencing a different view, more from the inside. I met a community that enveloped me, quite like the cruising community that was so important in all aspects of life aboard. Then I moved on to Georgetown for a week so I could spread my husband's ashes in a cut he put a name to: the Ten After Seven cut, just north of Stocking Island. I've traveled to many places and I'm drawn to the Bahamas - after the Chesapeake, which is home.

Cole your comment about feeling the shock-wave from the rocket as they launch. That's the same feeling you get anytime (and everytime) a fixed wing aircraft lands on an aircraft carrier. Emily When you say that the Bahamas is your favorite place, I imagine you saying that about every place you visit...;) Great video guys...cheers from Texas.

So here’s the rub, you got to many ad’s. I watch these videos to get away from corporate America. You should stop putting ad’s up all over the screen.
@adventurecrews4 ай бұрын
Hi Jesse, Creating this high-quality content for your entertainment is very expensive. We love that you're able to escape Corporate America by watching our videos. We hope you can suffer through a couple ads that we make .0004 cents off of so we can keep providing you with entertainment. Cheers!

I detest creators who use their channel to sell things. I refuse to subscribe to your channel and have blocked you.
@adventurecrews5 ай бұрын
Adiós! 👋🏼 I hope you’re blocking every creator who’s promoting Athletic Greens, too. This is a business Jimmy, not a hobby. Creating these videos for you to “detest” cost not only time but a lot of money and we’re not independently wealthy. I’m curious, how do you expect creators to make money? Your single view made me $0.00009 in ad revenue. I on the other hand have more than 40 hours of time invested into this single video for your viewing pleasure. We refuse to take on product sponsorships for products we don’t truly believe in.

Is it complicated to travel with a dog between countries? I’d appreciate any information you can give me. Thanks
@adventurecrews5 ай бұрын
This is always such a hard question to answer simply because each country is completely different but we have not had a hard time with it to date. We simply will not go to a country if they are not going to allow Dixie to come with us.
@adventurecrews5 ай бұрын
To further answer your question, the DR did not ask for any information on her, but the Bahamas on the other hand made us have a vet sign-off 48 hours before arrival.
