Thanks for the tour as my sister & I will be embarking this beautiful ship on 9/2/24. This ship will be our 2nd leg on Celebrity as we will be coming from the Beyond (Edge) class the day before. Even though it's going to be our 1st time on a Solstice-class ship anytime you are on a Celebrity cruise it's all goooood!

Welcome to Celebrity! We have sailed on over 50 cruises. Celebrity is our favorite - 27 cruises. It has a different vibe than RCCL, which may be better for families with children. However, if you want a more relaxing and adult experience, sail on Celebrity. Glad to not have slides, climbing walls and an amusement park atmosphere. The Edge class ships are even more beautiful.

@@davidhurwitz2291 this is exactly how we felt. We were so thankful to be away from the amusement park atmosphere. We definitely missed some of the shows that we have experienced on Royal Caribbean, but we look forward to sailing celebrity again.

I disagree about the Edge ships but people have their own tastes. I only like Celebrity up to the Solstice class ships. The Edge ships are Miami Beach hotel where the Solstice is New York chic. But the ship in a ship of the Edge class turns me off.

Thanks for the post. Really appreciate the casual approach you took. Also enjoyed your commentary throughout. I'm on the Reflection in two week and funny thing is the putting is already on my planner. LOL. My biggest takeaway is seeing you putt. Look like you're putting on the rough. Seems one would have to go about 150% to 175% of my normal putting stroke. Side note, you're a brave man 'complimenting' you partner how much she can eat. 😳 (LOL!!)

Thank you for watching! We truly loved this ship! This is coming in the next video, but I talked to the guy who manages the lawn. He started last week. They brought him in because the lawn was not up to standards, and he has well maintained grass on other ships. He told me he plans to have the putting green and actual green in a couple of weeks, which hopefully is the case for you! And she isn’t really a big eater, but I loved that side of her personality shining through on this video!

Did you ask for a table for two? Also if you request anytime dining, can you request the same wait staff? Thanks, we sail in November, concierge class also. Great informative VLOG!

We specifically requested a table for 2! We were fine with our wait staff on night 1, but we had a GREAT wait staff night 2. We requested them the next night. They required us to come back early to get that same wait staff, but that was fine with us! The Main Dining Room was AMAZING to work with, so they probably will work with you! Enjoy your sailing! We loved this ship so much we booked a week long sailing on her in March!

Hey!! We are 27, and we loved it (and booked it again for a 6 night sailing in 2025)! However, we are not big night life people so we didn’t explore it much! @@eleniebiebe123 The shorter cruises - 7 nights or less have more young people. The longer ones have lots of seniors, including us. We have been cruising since 1990.

So what perks do you get with concierge on celebrity?

It really isn't a lot at all! You get a nice Seapass card holder, some snacks in the afternoon, extra captains club points, binoculars in the stateroom (which we actually used quite a bit), a lunch in the main dining room on embarkation day (we wish we had gone to the Ocean View Cafe) and a private concierge desk. I would only book it again if it was an ultra cheap add on.
