The speech, the collaboration, the launch, the finding, the found footage, and the ending brought tears to my eyes with goosebumps and chills. As a Thai person, I've never felt prouder to be able to watch someone, who comes from abroad and who loves Thailand with all his heart, accomplish such a phenomenal event that might seem small for some but certainly remarkable to many people who live in this country. Thank you so much Khun Chris and everyone involved in this vlog!!! 🙏❤

Wow so amazing and very emotional 😭😭, this was fantastic go Thailand 🇹🇭 it great to observe that Thailand is pushing forward, when many Western are squabbling pretty things like how to control the world. It was very emotional to see especially for both me my daughter as Nakhon Sawan is where my wife and mother to my was from, we lost her 8 year ago, Nakhon Sawan is fantastic place, in fact, the temple you attended was the one where myself and my then-wife had the blessing and the paddy fields where ones that my wife family worked in.. we both miss Thailand Tremendously, me and daughter usual travel to Thailand twice a year but due the current situation we have not been since 2019, we been stuck in bonkers Boris land 🇬🇧 hopefully this year we make it back. It is a dream my Thailand is a permanent home 🏠 everything about Thailand 🇹🇭 is amazing, especially in places like Nakhon Sawan as you truly feel of what Thailand is about. ❤️🇹🇭 miss you, thank you for taking us on this emotional ride it was a blessing 🙏🧘

@ThaiGal It's a shame that you love Thailand but still live in the US dude. Saying the truth about bad things in Thailand doesn't mean we don't love or appreciate our own country. Most of Thai people don't like Prayuth and his stupid military government that makes our living in this country worst like hell for almost 7 years. Everybody wants to have a chance for a job, education, justice, etc. equally. Thailand right now is like a heaven for foreigners and the upper class or rich Thai people. It's not the best country for EVERY Thai people any more especially the poor and grassroots. Don't be too naive!

@Sakratic2 жыл бұрын
Chris would probably agree with me that although your words are very kind and I completely agree with you that Chris does in fact love Thailand very much, he did this not for selfish reasons BUT undoubtedly because of selfless reasons! The proof is in the real authentic and unplanned tears he shed while addressing the students (the future generation of Thailand). He has started and completely numerous journeys in his life already! He's doing this because as he said, he respects and admires the Thai people BUT he wishes and is practically imploring the Thais to have more self pride, change the education system so that the next generation can really push themselves and hopefully be able to have a REAL TRUE passion to truly believe they are very special and they deserve to believe that they can doing anything they want!!! The proof that the Thais aren't there yet is all in their mentality of life in general. Ask yourself these questions: why did it take a Westerner to have a vision and go out to make it happen - why was he the first to launch Pad Kra Prow or anything for that matter, to that record height - why wasn't it a Thai citizen - more importantly it should have BEEN a native Thai that already established a record for sending something to space!!! It's because what's missing is the mentality. Here in the States, parents teach and push their children and the next generation in general to dream and explore and pursue THEIR PASSIONS!! They teach and help mold the next generation to truly believe that they can do anything they literally put their minds to!!! In America even though we are also taught to respect our elders, if that doesn't happen to be the case then so be it because the child will learn that on their own. What the adults don't ever want to do is to discourage the little ones!!! The Thais see the Westerners as spoiled and lucky. I showed a few Asians I know and the first thing they said was why in the world would you send perfectly good food up on a balloon LoL 😂. They proved my point! I asked them if they ever dreamt of traveling to space or to the Moon at all when they were children. I bet you now know their answer to that question 😂. What Chris is doing is not for himself, it's to hopefully get those students to start being more creative, to open their minds, and realize they can do anything they want to do - that at a minimum, they should have the right to have a career that's not about how much they make but that makes them get excited every single day to get to work and to get paid doing what they are TRULY passionate ABOUT! Thanks Chris for being so loving and so generous!!!

I also do this space balloon launches here in Thailand as a hobby. But I uses equipments supplied by Stratoflights from Germany which are very reliable, their 4G GPS trackers is able to pinpoint landing sites within 5 meters and we never once have any difficulties locating our landed probes. The trackers are supposed to begin uploading its precise gps coordinates after falling to within cell network altitude, what happens to the many cheaper ones is that their tracker started working erratically after being exposed to freezing temperatures of the stratosphere and I think that's what happened to your launch. Also my set up always employ a second 4G enabled IP camera as a backup recording that can be retrieved remotely and as a way to observe the surroundings in real time once the probe have landed.
